Excluding #archive.12 (archived posts and the wasteland) from tables of similar topics

So. Please:

• can the query that yields data for current tables (tables headed 'Similar Threads') be refined, to exclude those thirty-five or so forums?

(Should I say 'nodes' instead of 'forums'?)

I can happily report topics that belong somewhere under #archive.12 (some of the discussions of vBulletin are entirely redundant, and so on), but the value of filing will be diminished if the tables of similarity ignore the filing.
