As someone who lost their housekeys for the first time ever a few months ago, I am DYING for this to come out. I would've bought a Tile already but these rumours were starting to circulate so I'm holding off until the reveal.
That sure would help with the perpetual game of hide-and-seek the elderly keep playing. Our pesky parents, trying to sneak out of the nursing home every night...
This service will be about helping people to keep track of all of their subscriptions.

With the right price and size I’ll buy a bunch of these. Of not I’ll maybe get one to try it out.
I'm thinking $60 for three or $25 for one. That would be a little premium over the Tile Mate and you know Apple is going to charge more just because they can.

I've my Tile bought during my last USA trip but I always hated it 'cause the battery cannot be replaced (by the way I've replaced It once).
If Apple will release something like that it will be a super nice thing to have and with the integration in "find my" ... WOW

Each iCloud account can track 1 tile for free or 4.99 for up to 3 devices and 9.99 for unlimited tiles
I have returned a trackR given to me as a present because if nobody uses the app it does not make sense (the network effect is important here)

If it's as useless as the "Find my iPhone" feature for my Airpods, my expectations are very low.
The biggest shocker of this article: the tags have REMOVABLE batteries that can be replaced by the user
I'd like to know if you can get an alert even if you have no cell connectivity? Does it work over Bluetooth? I use tile trackers for our dogs when we're camping. And we're also in an area with no signal.

I feel Tile knows something the last few months they have been pushing upgrading my "old" Tiles weekly.
The first Apple product designed for customer replaceable batteries in a long while, will be their tiniest. Love the irony and the product already now. ♥️♥️♥️
I would buy these in a heartbeat if they work like the upcoming update for Apple computers. If any nearby iPhone can ping the tags so you can locate it when you're not nearby, that would be a game changer.
