Hi all

I just purchased the LG 27UD69OP monitor. Everything I've read suggests I should be able to get 4k resolution at 60Hz on my late 2014 Macbook Pro if I use a Displayport to miniDisplay Port cable which is what I've done.

Two issues

1. It's definitely not 60 Hz. I can tell it's lagging just a bit. Why is that?
2. The picture quality is incredible, much improved over another 27in that wasn't 4k. But in display settings it says it's only 1920x1080, anything higher makes it too small to work and I'm confused over the scaling settings. Yet, the quality is way better than the 1920x1080 my old monitor was running. Can someone explain this to me?
