Nope - still says “received”. I called last week and they said to wait until it’s 8 weeks out... so Dec 17.

My wife’s Pro Max 12 $150 was issued in 10 days!
WTF?? now my status says denied??? did they approve yours?

Purchased Pro 12 today from apple store, will be trading my xs in when i get the kit and I believe after they (apple) receive the phone I should get the promo details

I never got an email with the promo code even after Apple received my trade in, I just found the code online and entered it as soon as I got my new phone. It's been sitting at "received" since Nov. 13th even though Apple paid me for my trade 2 weeks ago. I called and the lady I spoke to said she didn't see any reason why mine would be denied but "the computer" has to get caught up approving everyone's promos so I just have to give it 6-8 weeks. Kinda felt like a thinly veiled "I don't know what I'm talking about but I really want to get you off the phone", but who knows. Makes no sense why some people are getting theirs after a couple weeks but others are waiting forever. I guess "the computer" doesn't go by submission date but instead just picks at random 🤷‍♀️

After my $150 gift card was denied, I spoke with 2 t-mobile reps and they both suggested I re-submit the code. I told them I've waited 8 weeks and now have to wait another 8 weeks? And they both couldn't guarantee that I won't be denied again. This sucks.

Finally got mine yesterday. I was denied 2 times last week, both after being assured that whatever the problem was had been resolved. I called for a third time on Friday and told them this would be my last call - the next would be to Verizon. All 3 reps were very friendly and helpful, and ultimately it got resolved. However it felt like the multiple denials were just an excuse not to pay off. Don't relent!

I called the T-Mobile Promotions Customer Care at 1-877-470-3619. They resubmitted it for me on their system each time so it only took a day or so to update (from approved > submitted > denied x2).

After getting 'denied' again (i waited because I wanted to see if they will correct it without my having to call), I did finally call and they said it was apple that said my trade in was ineligible. (sure). I told the rep, how can an iphone 11 pro in perfect condition be ineligible? Plus, apple already received the trade-in and had accepted it. I told her I was getting upset and would like a resolution. So the rep agreed that I was eligible and credited the full $150 to my account. It only took 4 months, but finally, case closed.

Update- I FINALLY got my rebate but not without a fight. After numerous calls to the promo dept where I was first told everything looks fine, just wait, then told I submitted the wrong IMEI, then told I again submitted the wrong IMEI after submitting the other one, and after even the promo rep's 'manual override' got denied, I finally got to the bottom of the problem.

Turns out we were supposed to set up activation at checkout, which the original promo's wording did NOT mention(they have since changed it on the new offers to include this important step). Back in Nov I followed the original promo's directions exactly- purchased the T-mobile version, traded in my old phone, activated new phone on my line- but since I didn't activate it at checkout, the rebate system was seeing my new phone as the plain unlocked model hence the repeated "no/ineligible device" denials. I had to contact one of Tmo's higher-ups and explain the story and basically beg for my rebate. His assistant called me a few days later and she was really nice, I gave her all my purchase receipts and whatnot showing I did everything right and she ended up mailing me a physical $150 card.

Maybe this can help everyone else who's having this issue. If you keep getting denied despite being eligible, it is their mistake and they owe you that rebate. Be nice but persistent, and you'll get it. PM me for the higher-up's contact info, it's public knowledge but I feel like I'd be breaking some rule by just posting it here.

I'm glad I finally got it, but honestly if I'd known what a pain in the butt it was going to be I'd have never done the promo at all and just kept my old phone. Zero issues getting my refund from Apple, but I doubt I'll bother with any other carrier rebates in the future.

Thanks, @Ac1d 8urn . My last one turned to "Denied" it seems, so time to call in again and close it out. I did 3 of these rebates this way and each one required manual intervention and the first two ended up as credits to the account vs. a Mastercard, which is fine, but none worked out the way the process was laid out.

I was denied as well, phone was in mint condition and no problem receiving trade in credit from apple.

Had to reach out to T-Mobile and they started investigation into this and said I’ll get rebate one way or another lol
