I just reinstalled the OS so my dock is pretty basic right now. The pixellated stuff on the side is my buddy list. I haven't edited all their aliases yet and I don't really want to display their screen names.

Yeah, clear dock, or transparent dock.

I finally rearranged my OS X layout after having the Dock up in the upper-right corner for a few years. I'm still getting used to the change, but when I'm in single-monitor mode, I feel like my new Dock placement is reminiscent of the old Apple menu.

I've also used those graphite Agua folder/iconset for the longest time, so this new one is a transition. I'm happy with the change so far, though.
