Facebook app won't download/update

I keep getting pop ups saying my session has expired when I try to post things

in my case, I deleted the app and downloaded again, work out for me.

No problem on my iPhone, updated OK, but my iPad where I deleted it and tried re-installing is showing in the App Store as 'installing' but the progress bar has not moved an there is no icon on my springboard. Normally when you select things that are installing they pause and you can then restart them but this one does precisely nothing. I've left it over night, I've tried a hard reset and it is still showing the same, I can't cancel it or re-install, any ideas?

Yesterday I tried to update it, it didn't do it, so had to stop the update, iv just tried it again and it's worked fine.

I had to synch with iTunes to get FB back on my iPad,it took ages, can't remember last time I did it!

I think it was an issue with the icon because iTunes said something about artwork error.

my phone told me there was an update for Facebook today. When I tried to install it, it just put the Facebook app into "waiting" and keeps popping up with a dialog box that says "unable to download app 'Facebook' could not be downloaded at this time." I restored my phone (even in DFU mode) and now it won't let me put the Facebook app on my phone at all. I tried downloading it with iTunes on my mac and it keeps telling me there is an error downloading the artwork and refuses to work that way either. Any ideas?

I had the same problem. Eventually it updated by itself.
