Facebook & twitter icons still appear through out ios even if you don't sign in to these services in the settings. Whether it be for a bookmark or a photo there is still twitter & facebook icons in some options menus. They shouldn't be there imo.

I was going to suggest this over on the apple site but they don't have an option for iOS. Just a few apple made apps and individual devices.

(Bottom of apple page "contact us" then "product feedback" on the lower right side.)

Problem solved. For some reason, Gmail aggressively adds people to its contact list (it synced with my Facebook). I'm going through and deleting them from my gmail contacts now.

Ah yes. I stopped using Gmail contact with this new iPhone as they are cluttering my contacts. I will just export iCloud data every now and then to have backup and I will manually back them up to Gmail contacts (in case I ever change to another phone that does not support iCloud)

I guess leaving feedback at the iphone device option will have to do.

I'm in the process of backing up my contacts in iCloud, then I will turn off Gmail contacts - I'll only use their mail service. My contacts and calendar will all be from iCloud.

I will manually backup to Google every now and then as well - like you said, in case you ever switch phones.
