I am guessing you are a young kid who can't afford a cell phone.

I would say most young kids who have them cannot as well. The difference is whether their parents hand them to them.

The OP is clearly not telling the full story but then again, not having FB doesn't seem like the end of the world.

Use your house phone to make that call.

Seriously though, not having a facebook isn't all that bad.

I myself wish I can free myself from fb.

I don't have a house phone either, and even if I did, they only support sending text messages.

I'd gladly move over to Google+ but NOONE is over there.

You live in a home with no phone? And I assume your parents don't want you to have a facebook or you would ask them to authorize via their phone.

Facebook finally responded, Here's a screenshot. :)

So again... with no cell phone you won't be able to verify it and you'll be shut down and whining on MRs in no time. Strong work.

Is the OP just joking around?

, if he is serious, lol.

Get over it. You can live without Facebook. Get a Twitter. You can follow thousands of people and interact with them.

By the way, I am in my 20's and deleted my Facebook years ago. I will never get back on it again, and just fine without it. Not sure why think you Facebook is a necessity.

At least the OP doesnt have any reason to put a value on their self worth based on the amount of freinds and likes they have.

They're probably only pissed off because their farmville famr will be going to rack and ruin!:(

I would actually be kinda happy if this happens... would give me a good reason not to go on it anymore..

Is it really that hard not to open a facebook tab? My girlfriend did this. She removed her profile and I asked why. She said "I need a break from facebook". I told her "you know you can still keep your account and just not log in every 2 seconds".

You mean you have no bad habits that you just can't seem to get rid of? That's great for you, but for the rest of us certain things are just difficult to stop doing. For some people it's checking the e-mail despite having it on automatic update every 60 seconds, for others it's checking the fridge despite knowing exactly what's in there. Some people can't stop smoking, others are afraid of something they know is not dangerous (like getting panic attacks when being on a bus), certain folks bite their nails.

See, behaviors aren't always very logic, so for some people the accessibility of Facebook might keep pulling them back. The simple procedure of reactivating the account might be enough to keep them from visiting the page every ten minutes.

Your response to your girlfriend reeks of ignorance and is in no way supportive of her. Kind of like telling someone with panic attacks to just stop having them. Instead, you could offer to change the e-mail of her account to yours and then you change the password to something not even you remember (use a random password generator online for instance), then disable the account. That way, for her to be able to access her account she will need you to approve the activation and restore the password.

I'm not calling you as a person ignorant by the way. There might be a language barrier here, just don't know a better word for describing your response to her.

You're comparing real psychological issue and/or a drug addiction with refreshing a facebook tab?

So not only are you completely ignorant when it comes to human behavior, you don't even have the slightest interest in learning about it either? It's sad, really. But hey, it's those around you that will suffer and see you as unsupportive, I just thought I'd be kind enough to inform you. Take care.
