The screenshot doesn't look much different from MyPad+ which I already have and works fine for me

Really am not fussed if the app ever sees the light of day

Just wish LinkedIn would get their ass in gear and release an app

Explain to me why you would need a Facebook app for the iPad when you can just go to the website? What functionality would an app offer that the website wouldn't at a 1074x768 resolution?

u have to open the browser and go to facebook ... duh

i for one have the facebook ipad app bc it leaked with one of the earlier fb iphone apps and i love it

Not sure why Facebook needs a mobile app on each platform.
Just build a universal web app for people to use via mobile safari or chrome or windows 8.
Instead of developing 3 apps, you develop 1.
Its not like Facebook is doing anything crazy with 3D graphics or anything like that.

they have to add their special stuff that tracks your whereabouts and flaunts privacy laws etc ;)

Its much quicker, easier to use. The buttons are optimized for touch, as opposed to clicks.

I much prefer using "Friendly" (I believe its name is) than facebook.com, although it is extremely feature incomplete.

Facebooks downward slide has been steadily picking up steam.

From privacy, content rights wrangling, & even a usability standpoint, their site continually sucks more and more as time goes on.

I guess that is the nature of things. With enough time, everything goes to **** eventually.

The Facebook chat, which doesn't work in Safari on the iPad.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_5 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8L1 Safari/6533.18.5)

screw Zuckerberg and Facebook, quit 6 months ago and never go back-greedy thief he is...

Reminds me of this which was recently published...

Facebook is great. With the latest update, I'm able to look at a lot of peoples profiles and photos even though they think they're set to private.

How is it that FB keeps ****ing the dog on what should be a simple app? How long does stuff like this need to take?

Astounding.
