I'd put Apple in that bucket too tbh.Google is a close contender.

Ah, don't be fooled, Apple are sneakily putting into plan their method of adding to their evil coffers regarding this subject.Don't forget about Apple. The things protecting Americans' data right now is EU laws and the third largest megacorporation on the planet choosing to do the right thing.
I mean just look at their CEO, explains a lot.If Facebook isn't the definition of a piece of **** company, I don't know what is
You know what I mean. Most of the world visit pages indexed by Google. They're the internet. Facebook is nothing but a useless social media app.
to be fair, iMessage is pretty bad over all. Other Texting Apps are way better. Apple should've bought WhatsApp back in the day.I’m so happy that I’ve got rid of Facebook and Instagram a long time ago.
The last ****** app I’ve installed is WhatsApp because no one I know except my gf is actually using iMessage.
It’s a shame Facetime and iMessage never opened their gates to Android/Windows to conquer the spying ad industry.
I hope you're trolling. Otherwise this is about the dumbest thing I've read in a while. This hurt me. I can't imagine messenger without nicknames and photo edit feature. Why was it removed? EU has nothing to do? I think there is nothing about "privacy" in nicknames and photo editing! If they are worried about privacy then they should let each user decide if he/she wants to set new privacy "EU" settings! I hope they'll bring it back... Or I'll uninstall messenger!
Thinking the same! I doubt EU cares as much as you sending a sticker. I’m sure there is behind the scènes theft of data by FB and as a pushback they are disabling features to make users uncomfortable. I think EU needs to restrict this rotten company even more. Same goes for Apple and their fight with FB now.sounds more like they did that on purpose and not because they were asked to, to make users in Europe aware of this law in hope that it would cause an outcry and a discussion to revert this rule or some twisted FB bs
It’s probably not about the stickers. This is just to anger/annoy users. They did not specify what exact issue they are having with EU. As someone from EU, I have full confidence in the EU’s stance against this company that has been caught many times on stealing data and yet they’ve gotten away with it so far. Apple is currently having to face them too due to their latest privacy/tracking notification. It is only Facebook that’s crying about that feature. Clearly something is up.It’s quite something that Facebook have managed to make friggin’ stickers violate a privacy law.
