Can you imagine being against this? I wonder if those against it also disable fraud warnings too "well those criminals have every right to steal my money". And content blockers are a no no "it's our god given right to let advertisers show us all the products they think we need". Or something.

Personally, as a non-American looking in, she seemed perfect for the job. Great CV, fought against all the bizarre claims made against her, campaigned whilst ill, demonstrated humility and was able to change her mind (good quality in a politician IMO). She came across great.
Trump never did. Republicans needed a much more diplomatic choice. The drift further right because of a refusal to accept the world moving more left wing, well that's just disappointing and will drag the US down.
Congrats on changing your mind BTW. I did the same a couple of years ago. I used to vote right wing but started leaning more and more left.

I'm confused. I thought one reason republicans didn't like Hillary is because she was overqualified, a "diplomat" I saw one republican here call her. But other republicans say she's underqualified and other such terms. They did. A lot. Do you assume I support them? Moderate conservative here with independent tendencies. When it comes to presidential tickets I've voted nothing but republican until recently. Have no idea why my former party has lost it's damn mind. But go ahead and make up whatever narrative suits your agenda. Our president is an awful human being. We have a problem in this country with nominating the most horrible, least qualified people to be president on both sides. Even independents sucked this year. It doesn't take a genius to see all the fake crap posted on social media that helped propel our president to victory. It was everywhere! And the worst part is our president wouldn't outright deny any of it, which helped to legitimize it. And he's still doing it! Remember—alternative facts are his administration's words—not mine.
