Just scroll to the bottom of the page, click on Touch site, let it refresh then scroll to the bottom of the page again and you'll see the option for "Full Site".

That should do it.

That solution only works for a little while before it reverts back to the mobile site.

I think that it is weird that it is sending us to the "mobile" site and not the "touch" site. You would think if there was any problem it would go to the "touch" site.

It will be interesting to see if Facebook come out with an official statement about this and maybe address the possibility of an app for the iPad or chat for the facebook main page in Safari (which is the only thing wrong with facebook on the iPad).

Theres no app to make the overall iPad experience better for Facebook?

There is an iPhone app but still no iPad app. I use iPhone but it is small.. I wondered if they did this cause they are getting ready to launh a FB iPad app and wanted peeps to buy it?

I have noticed when I log on in Safari I ca't access my wall unless I go through a comment on a post? When I click profile I go to my "public" profile?

I just use Safari on the iPad. Exactly the same as at my desk. It can't really get any better than that...

Wrong. At the full site, I can't add photos to my profile. I still need the App to do that. Not FB's fault though.

You get scrollbars for the pop up windows?

Wrong. At the full site, I can't add photos to my profile. I still need the App to do that. Not FB's fault though.

Fair enough, I haven't tried to do those two things yet.

Not sure if that warrants a whole app, as opposed to simply having Facebook create an iPad-friendly version of their website (e.g. with fewer Javascript mouseovers).

Facebook - just give us an iPad version of the iPhone app. I use icab so I can fake the user agent and force it into full desktop browser mode but, even so, I'm still currently using the iPhone app in compatibility mode for my (fairly infrequent) Facebook access.

If the blown-up iPhone app is OK then a proper iPad app would be great.
