What if I’m in the shower or something. Dang!
Massive failure after massive failure? Sure there isn't another company you are referring to or hyperbole for hyperboles sake?
None of what you mentioned, at least imo, is a massive failure. You're entitled to your opinion, as I am. As far as stagnating sales, Apple is expected to announce around $84B in revenue. That number to me, while not meeting guidance is not indicative of any massive failures. YMMV of course and I understand your list of issues with Apple is different than mine. This is a massive oversight and privacy bug affecting millions of devices. It’s a PR nightmare and a massive failure. As was the battery debacle, the stagnating sales, the iPad mini being dropped for 4 years, list just goes on for me. Not happy with the overall lack of innovation since Cook took over, one new device and that’s it. And it’s a watch.
the response from apple and tim cook will define tim cook's legacy. there is no scott forstall around this time to blame.
week(s) is not acceptable ... every minute is ticking clock.
There were pretty bad bugs even under Steve Jobs.Massive failure after massive failure. Dissappointing, but Cook is in over his head. Not a visionary.
Apple has no privacy issues so you are wrong. Why show a video of how to replicate this issue? Why is that necessary? We’re already aware of the problem; no need to show people how to replicate it. This is a security and a privacy problem.

I... really don’t care. It’s a bug, it’ll get fixed. And in the meantime, it’s not like it can be done without your knowledge - you’re gonna see the incoming FT call. Combine that with the fact that the only people who are ever going to FT me are friends and family... plus it requires deliberately initiating the bug... so I guess if my mom or best friend wants to spy on me... and looks up how to do this... and don’t care that I know they’re doing it...![]()
Yeah!I have used FaceTime like one. The realities of living in Asia where iPhones don’t have dominant market share, I suppose.
It is actually earth shattering and a huge deal if you think.one if not the worst bug in the history of tech. It's a bug. Not exactly an earth shattering one like the chip design flaws from last year. A software bug. It'll be fixed. Calm down. Return to your previously planned activities.
Don’t worry about it. Group FaceTime has been disabled.Just confirmed between my wife and my phones - both on iOS 12.1.3.
Yeah, it's totally the CEO's fault that the team responsible for one app didn't test it properly.Massive failure after massive failure. Dissappointing, but Cook is in over his head. Not a visionary.

Is this just on iOS 12? Wife’s phone still on 11.
That would be Facebook.![]()
