Just did a call over LTE. Checked settings afterwards and it was off. Tried to turn it back on and got popup. Reset phone and now it's on again. Anyone else experience this?

Earlier today I tried toggling it on but wouldn't work. Just checked now and the toggle was switched to on. I'm on a 3gb data plan.

I am located in San Gabriel Valley with (626) area code on each of my AT&T devices with unlimited data. I can get FaceTime over cellular "on" on iPhone 5. On the 4S and "new iPad" it still gives me a popup. I restarted each of the devices as well.

Yes, I rebooted the phone. Turned it on and was shocked. 5 min later I look at the setting and it is off and I get the popup again. Not shocked.

Seems like this is mostly east coast for now.

Here in SoCal, iPhone 5 with granfathered unlimited data and not working.

Another shot to the face for Verizon users lmao :(
AT&T is really picking their game up I wish I still had unlimited now.

iPhone 5 with unlimited data
FaceTime over cellular works with no problem
We should now arrange a petition for Personal Hotspot.
Verizon allows both as of right now without tethering for unlimited users.

For those who are saying it is On. Are you looking later and also testing a call? The switch will say On every time you hard reset the phone.

Last night I was successfully able to make a FaceTime call on my 4S over 4G, but now it seems that it's not working again...

I was just checking macrumors.com today and saw that. So I turned off my phone and turned it back on and the face time over cellular switch was moved to on and I'm on the east coast

iPHone 5, 6.0.1, I don't even have LTE available where I live (midwest USA), but I rebooted my phone and then tried the toggle after reading about this and it flipped over, no pop-up at all. I've been on unlimited since my original iPhone and grandfathered through every iPhone I owned (all models except the 4s).

I think I've bothered to use FaceTime maybe a half dozen times in my life, can't say I'll use it much more, but at least AT&T isn't being stupid about it any longer.

Working for me. Located in North Texas, if it means anything. When I reset my phone, FaceTime cellular was already flipped on.

4S, grandfathered unlimited. After restarting phone, it says its on. But after like 15 seconds, it switches to off and will not let me turn it back on. I'm in Harrisburg, PA.

NYY Fan

restarted my iphone 5 and it switched to on. Unlimited plan and I'm in NY.

NYY FAN, where in NY are you. I'm on Long Island and it doesn't work on my iphone 5, 6.0.1 or my wife's iPhone 4S, 6.0.1. New Yorkers, please say where in NY you live

I'm on iOS 6.0 grandfathered unlimited plan. Had to turn off and turn on my iP5 and can now turn on/off the Use Cellular option on my phone. I'm located in Massachusetts.

iPhone 5 LTE with unlimited plan here in Denver, CO. Turned the phone off. (Not a reset) and sure enough it was activated. Now if I could only get the hot spot for my iPad mini. :)
