At least features that can be fixed. Not like "you're holding it wrong", to use a popular meme as an example of something that couldn't be fixed.
I’d rather they released things whenever they were ready. Rather than bunching a load of features into a release. Like with iOS 9 where they added all the night shift features part way through.Apple really needs to drop the annual cadence. Every two years would be fine - more stability for organizations, meatier OS updates, and more time for testing.
This is exactly why Apple needs to stop being so stubborn and extend the update cycle to two years. Obviously iOS 15 isn’t ready for a release this fall with all the features advertised at WWDC. They should have waited another year to announce it so they can release it from day one with everything that was advertised. Or at least 6 more months.Lame. Sharing screens is the one big thing I want some FaceTime. I am tired of walking my parents and in-laws through tasks on their phone and not seeing what they're seeing.
Or with the punctuation thusly:It's ok Apple, no one is surprised at this point.
Or they can release ios 15 in september with the iphone 13 without certain features....which they can release later...This is exactly why Apple needs to stop being so stubborn and extend the update cycle to two years. well, it was fixed in the end with free bumper cases 😉At least features that can be fixed. Not like "you're holding it wrong", to use a popular meme as an example of something that couldn't be fixed.

If that were the case Apple would have rebranded it to something like AirShare or whatever. (And even more likely Apple would have looked for trademark infringement issues long before picking the name). This screams bugs.Sony calls their PlayStation thing Share Play also. Maybe it’s a legal thing. Who knows anymore.
No they should be releasing new software (and hardware every 1.5-2 years). It’s been enough of releasing software without features to release those later. If they have to do that, then one year is far from enough time to develop a new OS version and the yearly cycle needs to be extended.Or they can release ios 15 in september with the iphone 13 without certain features....which they can release later...
It wouldn’t happen if the upgrade cycle were 1.5 or 2 years instead of just one year. It’s one feature that will be after…hardly end of the world
I can understand the yearly release schedule. As long as the competition releases yearly, or more, so will Apple. Most probably wil stay like that for the foreseeable future. No they should be releasing new software (and hardware every 1.5-2 years). 15.5 in April like app tracking in 14.5?Apple will instead make SharePlay available in an update to iOS 15, iPadOS 15, tvOS 15, and macOS Monterey that's coming later this year.
Could even be as late as just 2-3 days before the next WWDC like imessages in the cloud in 11.4.15.5 in April like app tracking in 14.5?
