FaceTime using calling minutes ?

Hi,

At the demo of FaceTime Steve called Johnny normaly then switch to FaceTime...Will the minutes run or will the call disconnect ?
Anyone have a clue ?

its iPhone 4 to iPhone 4 only so that means ATT to ATT which is free mobile to mobile. Also it is over wifi only so no data usage.

It has been answered many times. The call is dropped and continues through FaceTime over wifi

Really sucks that it can't be iPhone to iChat. I hope "there's an app for that".

As FaceTime is Wifi only at the moment I would assume that it would not use your minutes as they can hardly charge you for using your own wifi data

But it seems you have to call the person first then switch to facetime. So there will be atleast a connection fee or?

And what about none US users

Watch the FaceTime video op. You can call someone through FaceTime without an initial call

Even if there is an initial call... Its free mobile to mobile.
