Fake Mac Mini Images Circulate

Dell seems to care...

I saw one at BestBuy and the "Dell" logo glows - on both sides...
I would think if Dell can do it, anybody can...
heres the thing, the dell is wrapped in plastic, while the mini, although speculative, has an aluminum enclosure and that my friends is classy! though i must say the dell impresses me a bit... the only fault is that it runs windows, and its not up to the design standards Apple has.
Not bad, but it looks a little too "shallow".
Here's what i think it will look like.
Based on a MBA Superdrive, made out of Aluminium, clean front except for the Slot, Glowing Apple Logo (I Know its upside down), Keeps the current lift off hood idea of the Mac Mini, making it hard to service. I Toyed with the idea of Beveled edges, but the iMac doesnt have them, and it looked wrong. It's just abit thinner and smaller overall than the Mac Mini, smaller footprint.

Also kinda cool. Similar to the present one, but enough of a differentiation to show it is the new one. I don't mind either and hope it is something similar. I don't think the mini needs colours the way the dell does. Makes it seem somewhat cheap in my eyes.

one flaw in the design is wifi might take a serious hit in performance
I also hope the mini is the same footprint as a Time Capsule.

I was planning on two for my first entry into Mac land after my iPhone... missed opportunity Apple!

Go back a few months and read my comments after the conference call where Jobs clearly stated that Apple caters only to a certain segment of the market and folks like me and you are clearly not part of that segment.
I called his remarks arrogant then and I still stand behind my comments today. Apple has made billions and no longer needs a Mini switch box which was never intended to be a long term mid rage solution. Everyone needs to wake up and finally realize that Apple products are not market to the average Joe on a budget. The Mini allowed people to taste the good life but now that its gone John Doe realize they cant really afford the good life.
It was a teaser box only meant to hook you into buying the higher price tags items once you had the Apple fever.
Not a missed opportunity at all its all about corporate greed they don't need your Mini money. The Apple corporation is sitting on billions thanks to the iPhone and other products. Remember the very first iPhone which cost something like $500 or more I think.
This is exactly what happens when a corporation get's to the stage where they are today. They dont give a damn about a Mini.

I think you might be jumping the gun a little there. For sure, we expected the mini to be announced at MW, but Apple has long hinted that MW is not that important anymore. Besides, there's the reported hooks in OS X for an updated mini and (unofficial) word from Apple not to lose hope on the mini. They didn't announce the expected iMac update either, do you think that that means they're canning the iMac?
Personally, I think it's more of a reflection that Apple will now announce new products only on it's own timescale, not IDG's. I'm not too bothered if they delay the release of the mini until Snow Leopard is closer to shipping. Both together in Feb/March would be sweet.
Don't give up hope, somewhere in a land far, far away millions of those little suckers are being churned out for you and me. I want two also

Ah come on! Once a visionary, always a visionary. The man revived Apple, gave us super fast, affordable, easy to use, dual platform computers plus iPods, iPhones & cool commercials and you want to throw him under the bus because he released a high end laptop before updating the Mac mini.
