mmm... looks like still got 2 weeks more for me.. i in singapore.
Shipping times seems to be all over the map. I am in the US and got mine in just over a week.
forgive me if someone has posted before but, has anyone of you bought the white vapor pro from cases will? if yes would you mind posting the pictures? and how are the fits? thanks a lot
It has been posted before a few pages back, but I should be receiving my white vapor pro from caseswill tomorrow or thursday according to USPS tracking, so once I get it I'll throw some more pictures up for you.
As much as I like the looks of the Vapor cases I think I will just go back to a simple plastic bumper. Although I love the look and feel of the aluminum bumpers I simply don't like the added bulkiness and weight. I just put on a plastic bumper last night and am loving the almost naked feel of the phone again.
When did you order yours? And what shipping method did you choose? I just ordered two this last weekend and wondering when they will arrive. Thanks for the input,
I ordered mine the 26th of march. I live close to LAX so it doesn't take long to get to my place.
Is it like a flex toward the center? If so, I believe that is normal. My case has the same thing, doesn't bother me too much.
Both designs in my experience need a little "help" fitting to my likeing. I honestly believe the black ops I have fit better but with some help they both fit pretty much 100%. I didn't have the bowing that some have with the plastic part on the chomp but I also put a bit of upward bend to the top and bottom so it puts the plastic part under some tension. I thought I would like the comp better but the black ops has really grown on me and I gave the chomp to my pops to try out. His grove bamboo recently cracked on him and he thought he may like to give one of the aluminum bumpers a try.
I believe these will be powder coated and not painted but I can't verify that (typically aluminum is PC in these types of applications) and it typically holds up well but I did see some posts about chipping.

Both are fake.
I would say the COMP is much better quality as regards paint, build, finish and fit.
Also had a winsy bit more signal with the COMP if that matters.

You have to really, really play with the stick on padding. One of my cases sits nearly flush, the other has a slight bow to it.
Both looked like the arch of a bridge before I moved, cut, repositioned the foam pads.

As promised, here are pics of my Vapor Pro and Vapor Comps, all from Jacky Lin.
Please keep in mind, I had the Pro for a few months before taking pics, so the foam pads have shifted and the case has some wear.
I have two Comp cases, one orange and one black. I mix and match them. The orange with black cap one was installed while I took these pics.
I had to adjust the foam pads in all three cases. My Pro won't 'seal' properly with a Lucky Labs Teksure installed, and the signal is considerably better with a Comp vs a Pro. Not that the Pro is bad, but in my office, I cannot pick up the weak wifi signal with it installed, and with a Comp I can.

Having owned a real Vapor Pro (but no real Comps), the bootlegs that Jacky Lin sells are as good if not better, when you factor in the price and customization options. The orange on my Pro is darker and has more red in it than the real one did. I prefer this hue over the real deal.
my vapor comp patriot got shipped when i order the white comp arrived to me two weeks later
Pictures of both please? Would like to pull the trigger on a fake patriot and/or a white comp.
