which shop did you get your from? There are like 3 different Jacky seller on there.

what color is your phone? I think the black is made a little thinner than the white phone.

so today i received my 3 cases ordered from jacky for my 4s. i did have a couple scratches on one of the cases, on the black ops plastic tab. nothing too bad tho. i have noticed no signal loss, i have bad signal with or without the case at home though... but when compared to a friends 4s there are no drops. i does seem like my wifi range has decreased. i get no wifi in front of my house where i would get some weak wifi.

my main concern is that the phone itself is not completely locked in place. it does not feel like its will come off at all, but i can wiggle the phone from within the case with the screws being very tight. is anyone else having an issue like this? this fitment issue is with all the cases i received.

I'll be taking pictures for you guys...when it comes in :D I ordered a white/white and silver/silver.

I really want to see some colored cases in the white iPhone. Black/blue and red/black mostly! Keep the pix coming please!

FYI, I emailed Simon (contact infor was on their website) and they will do $21 per case if you want to go directly to them. They will also accept paypal.

Yup! I did the same. He didn't even say $21. Told me to pay aliexpress price which was $20.88, but I did $21 anyway. Just a few cents and helps with the fee.

Is that an issue with all the cases you got ? I got a case from Jacky Nile and the fitment was perfect. Try loosening the screws and then refitting it and then tightening, i had to do that initially.

One special thing I'd like to point out... Simon's picture of the Black Pro Ops shows a darker orange plastic tab.

Guys, I posted this earlier. This site offers PayPal service.

Hi iz2sick. The pics on that site look like the standar Elementcase pics. Did you get actual pics of the Black Ops case he is sending out ? I havent seen a Chinese seller correctly replicate the orange color on the black ops cases. they always have them in clear or light yellow.

iz2sick and surf2snow, thanks for the tip on paypal accepting sellers :)

Hmm interesting, i have not got this issue with either of my cases. Might not move around as much/at all if you get an antenna wrap, like the ones from the lucky labs?

Been 'wearing' the red and silver vapor pro for a few days now, no issues whatsoever. Signal has been perfect, GPS has worked fine (used it to drive to uni), Wifi is full bars. No complaints. No wear and tear or any degradation of the quality in terms of paint wearing away, no visible scratches/scuff marks.

Basically if you want one, dont hesitate.

+1 it's only $21+ with free shipping...got nothing to lose but $21 even if you don't like it :)

I would be disappointed if I pay $150 +tax for Element Case and find out issues with degradation of antenna, etc.... but for $21...it's a no brainer...

It's just a case to dress up your iphone...that's pretty much it.

Remember guys, our iphone, laptop, clothing, toys, etc all came from China :)

Basically if you want one, dont hesitate.

here is a picture of a white iphone with the case...

I'm in love :) I already ordered my luckylab to go with the white and silver case :)

I also got the black ops case and mine is a little loose as well, I still am happy with the purchase but i can wiggle it around a bit, not complaining though for saving $125.00 over the real one. Using mine with the 4s

I got mine from Jacky Nie

I'm really interested in ordering one of these. do you have to install the backing or can you use it just like a bumper?

you know the more i look at this white one the more you can see the quality difference when compared to the red/silver.

Of course i am not complaining, for this price i think it is natural to see differences in product quality. Just merely a comparative observation.

When i talk about quality difference, I mainly refer to the fitment in each corner (where the screws bring both sections together). With my red/silver, the fitment is literally PERFECT. I can run my finger over the joining parts and it feels smooth, no gap or anything, almost as if the case is whole and not fitted together.

With the white one, there is a little 'bump' where one of the sections protrudes higher than the other (ever so slight). Also I have just noticed a bit of paint chipping (see pic below)

the tiny dot is where the paint has chipped off a bit.

I wonder if these sellers are trying to improve the white versions. I would love to see a white version that has anodized paint like the red/silver one i have.

Im nitpicking of course ;), but when you have a next to perfect case that costs $26 and a white one which costs roughly the same and is of less quality, i think its worth pointing out the differences!

i ordered two white vapor pros. one from the jacky nie seller and one from simon. i will let you guys know how they compare when they both arrive.

i took the plunge and also ordered from simon, to see what the quality difference is with these white ones (if any). at $20 it is $10 less than i paid for the white one above.

i want an orange/silver to complete the set with my red/silver and blue/silver, then i am done ordering these cases!

I had the exact same issue 3 months ago when i got a silver-silver with a friend. We loosened the screws and managed to get it aligned and then tightened the srcews. Have you tried that ? cheers

i was never the least bit interested in these element vapor cases cause of the price. but now after reading this thread i can't wait to receive mine. please post pictures as soon as you get yours and i will do the same!

that's why most of the seller do NOT recommend the white version due to quality. I kept asking them about it, but they even said do not get it but they recommended the white Vapor 4 version.

I think all the current batch of the white one is not as good as the other color. again, for $21 dollars...no big loss.

I got one for $20 but it just like throwing money in the drain. The reception was was terrible after the vapor case was installed. Not sure if its due to metallic frame so it will weaken the signals or because its a fake case.

you're the first here to lose reception. Which phone do you own?

fyi, my reception in my area jump up and down without any case on a 4S....so...not sure how you are measuring the reception.

was it a vapor pro or a vapor 4?

Well i have a white vapor 4 coming in friday since i like the all aluminum and it's a bit slimmer. I can do that signal test with wifi and reception when i receive it. There is one forum member who got the case and didn't have any problems so I'll prob be the second to test it.

Actually, you wouldn't be throwing money if you turn around and sell it. I guarantee someone will take it off your hands either here or elsewhere on the net... eBay and Craigslist sound like excellent options. You can probably get more than what you paid for it on those sites. Don't overdo it though for the sake of being a fair human being

How are these cases in terms of damage control if the phones dropped? Are these more for decoration and preventing scratches when placed on a desk or whatever, and not necessarily any good for actual protection in event of the phone falling out of your pocket?

they would be perfectly sufficient at protecting the phone if you dropped it. Unfortunately i dont really want to try....

there is a gap between the case and the antenna so unless it got run over or something there is no way it could damage the phone.

Actually, I can imagine the case just coming apart upon impact from drops especially considering the numerous reports about questionable screws.

I'm personally getting it for looks and minor drop protection. I'm talking like sitting the in chair to carpet drops. Maybe even chair to tile floor. Also for minor dings.

I have my phone wrapped in Lucky Labs now so hopefully that will take care of the wiggle room I'm hearing about. Man, I'm so tempted to buy that fiberglass Tru Skin and a red/silver Vapor Pro to pair with it... I swear, I'm going to end up spending more money on my phones vanity than I spent on the phone itself!

Actually, I already did since I sold my old iPhones on that eBay instant cash thing.
