I have just ordered two vapor pro case (red and silver) from Jacky Nie.
It will come next week and I will upload some photos, when I have received it.

My Black-Ops arrived today and what can I say it's a knock off case. Does not fit well and I did not get the right back protector I asked for. But what did I expect :)

The one good thing to come out of this is that I have found I don't really like the shape of the bumper at all so legit or not I'm glad I now know that fact

Received my Black Ops, and I must say the build quality is very nice. Like others my case was just slightly loose, but I think I found the culprit as well as a possible fix.

The left piece of the case, with the plastic trimming on the bottom left corner, is slightly out of spec. So when joined together with the other piece it pushes the case outwards causing a saggy corner that does not sit flush with the iPhone 4's steel band. A simple fix to make the case fit tighter would be to use fine/extra-fine sandpaper and sand this area down a bit.

After this little DIY my case now fits tight, and there is no gap whatsoever between the Vapor Pro and my iPhone. Hope this helps those with similar issues.

Bingo! This was the issue with my case as well. I have been without power at home since saturday evening due to that freak october snowstorm in the northeast US. I finally had it with being bored last night so I sat down in front of the fireplace last night and did the same thing. It is pretty much perfect now.

I got mine from Simon just today. Blue Vapor Pro, ordered 27/10, mailed 28/10 and now 4/11 got here to Finland (bloody mailman woke me up at 8am by banging door).

Interestingly, there is no padding pre-installed and quite frankly, I was too lazy to install them myself, especially since I had to scrape little bit off from the edge of clear plastic part, it was pushing phone too far away, making it impossible to align sides. After that little scraping, I got it aligned fine, had to disassemble once more for padding to power button :) but even without any padding, I had to use bit force to fit it to my phone (iphone 4 black, gsm) but atleast there is definetly no loose ends :D

I've resolved my problem with the white vapor pro case with the seller I bought mine from.

The seller says he'll be sending me a Black Ops case for free.

Definitely happy now.

My Black Ops also came to me a bit on the loose side. I saw no problem with how the plastic insert meets the other side, so I just ended up applying 4 small pieces of BodyGuardz to each corner of the iPhone and now it fits like a glove. As I stated in one of my previous posts, the look and finish are beautiful. The fitment (and resulting DIY fix) is a very small price to pay for a case as nice as this and the prices we are all paying.

hey guys , any other way to open the screws ? i think the screw driver they gave me was already bald . i couldn't even unscrew any of the screws lol

Just take one of those backup screws and go to local hardware store, they just normal Phillips head screws, so you just need to find screwdriver with enough small head.

do u mean sand where the 2 parts meet and screw together or sand the inside closest to the aluminum band on the phone?

received my white vapor pro from simon. In terms of quality it appears to be quite good actually, better than the other white one i have.

However, the phone is loose inside the case when installed. grr. Oh well.

Still waiting for my blue/silver to arrive.

Is the new white one the same as the Ceramic White vapor pro that Cindy sells, since they're like the same company?

other white one?

was the other white ones loose too?

I bought 6 side wrapper already so I wonder if I can help eliminate the gap. I ordered the white one from Simon too.... I'm curious about the new batch...maybe we'll see them next week from someone on here.

Now, I'm hoping my silver/silver does not follow the same fate....I like the silver/silver too...

I thought about getting this. Let me know how you like it. Did it come with the plastic inserts? Also, most importantly for me, can you test on and off signal strength via the field test? I would like actual -db numbers. Thanks!!

yea however i dont have any spare...dont really like the idea of having to alter it to make it work.

mine is definitely not the better version. Paint finish is identical to my other white.

my other white one is pretty snug however if i do force it, it does move a bit. Not as much as this though.

Cant wait for my blue/silver. Think i am just going to stick to one seller from now on.

which is the one seller you recommend?

You can actually do both, which was what I ended up doing. So on the plastic piece, sand down both the end as well as the groove that the phone's band would "fit" into.

Word of caution, take your time and test fit the case as you go. If you end up sanding down too much you're going to have a problem.

Is that picture of your actual case or did you just use it from somewhere else?
