I might be wrong but I heard the original Vapor Pro bumper does kill the signal strength whereas the bootleg ones do not. Not completely, but still noticeable. You might want to look into that.

Thanks for the heads up but how does it kill signal strength if the design is exactly the same? Different materials used? Unlikely. Well, looks like I'll have to put on the original and see for myself then. :)

can someone comment on the signal in iphone 4s since apple changed the site of antenna please? i can see most of u guys have iphone 4.according to the photos u posted, the metal part actually will cover the antenna in iphone 4s.. please let me know

thanks

I have the 4S. No problems with reception whatsoever.

I to am curious to the severity of signal loss. I was currently using a Karas Kustums case. And even without it being a bumper style case. It degraded the signal 1-2 bars depending on signal strength on my 4S. I did order a Vapor Pro from Casewill so we shall see how it performs compared to my current case.

Alright, here's my review of the Vapor Comp from http://www.eachsupplier.com/designer-s-comp-back-cover-case-for-iphone-4-4s-multi-color.html. I would like to point out that this item arrived in less than 10 days from China to Detroit. I'm also posting this here because the last time I reviewed a knock-off case the thread was locked due to controversy.

Ease of Install: Easy. The screws on the Vapor Comp are a little bigger than the Vapor Pro and are easier to handle because of that.

Fitment: Excellent. The fit is spot on. No gaps and absolutely no loose spots. It’s very tight so be careful when sliding the aluminum piece on. What I did was slighty bend it out as I was sliding it on so the that metal edges wouldn’t scratch my phone. Keep in mind that I have a Lucky Labs Teksure wrap on my iPhone.

Accessory Compatibility: My only third-party accessory is my AT&T car charger. The original Vapor 4 wasn’t compatible with my car charger. The Vapor Comp however is.

Signal Performance: No loss at all. Everything performs fine. My GPS was also still working very well even on EDGE network. Wi-Fi performance did not take a hit at all.

Quality: 9/10 – The only thing holding me back from giving this a 10 is the plastic side. It doesn’t look as good as the genuine Vapor Comp’s piece. The piece is very transparent. Although some others might like that as it really shows the side of your phone.

Overall Impression: The Vapor Comp is my new favorite case. I prefer this over the Vapor Pro. It feels better in the hand (particularly the rubber pieces along the right side) and I think it looks better. I did place a rubber piece under the lock button to ensure that it clicks well. It doesn’t have a rubber piece under there out-of-box and frankly, I didn’t even bother trying the case without adding it. Very good case and I’ll likely purchase more when this one wears out.

Thanks for reading guys. Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions on what you would like me to add to my reviews.

for those of you that had ordered a black ops from jacky lin towards the beginning of february and it had to be re-shipped, i received mine this morning. He/she told me that it was being sent out on 2/25, according to usps it was accepted on the 29th. Processed through hong kong 3/4; arrived in isc new york 3/5; it then went to bethpage ny 3/7. Arrived in San diego 3/8

The fit looks okay, i can see some of the silver bezel and it was missing one of the paddings, may just take one off of the cleave that i bought (since it has reception issues). So far no reception issues and the rf adapter is not really orange like everyone else stats.

Mine has followed the same path and it's still in NY. I live in the midwest :( wtf

I ordered on 2/20, USPS attempted delivery today but I was not home so I will pick it up tomorrow and report back. I have an authentic Vapor Pro Stealth for comparison as well.

I'm very tempted to order one of these from Casewill, but do they happen to offer the carbon fiber insert? I'd much rather have that than the suede.

any one seen Tactical Line copies yet? Looks amazing, but not 150. amazing, I'll wait for 20-30. ones...

Got my replacment from Jacky Lin today...

And what a huge difference between my first case and this one. The fit is much more snug, the pieces fit together perfect, and there are no gaps.

Bravo to Jacky for hooking it up. I think the lesson learned here is that when you order a knockoff the differences from product to product can be quite large. Even the case and the screwdriver appear to be of better quality.

To be honest, I think that the knockoff sellers know when they get a quantity of these cases that are not of the best quality. Obviously they can't afford to just trash them, so they sell them anyway, and hope that we accept them. If it just so happens that we are not happy they take a replacement from a batch that is a much better quality and send it to the unsatisfied customer.

Or perhaps it's just the conspiracy theorist in me

I have an iPhone 4s and no reception/wifi/gps problems whatsoever using the vapor pro. I even did the field test and noticed no difference in the numbers. This truly is the best case you can get at the moment.

waiting for the purple one to be released

I've always wanted a case from Element buy they are just way more than I am willing to spend on a case.

So I went for it and ordered a Vapor Pro Spectra from CaseWill and it looks awesome. The fitment is really good, the materials look great. I'd say its hard to tell this isn't the real deal. I went ahead and ordered a Comp version after seeing how nice this one looked. I am quite impressed, no signal loss either.
Definitely worth the $23. I'll try and post some pics if I get a chance today.

I ordered the white Vapor Pro case from casewill, I didn't want to pay twice as much for shipping though so it won't be here for a few weeks. Oh well, still a great price. Thanks a lot to everyone in this thread!

Has anyone ordered the 'epiphany' comp from caseswill? I just pulled the trigger on one, as well as an all pink pro for my wife's new white 4s. Hoping that the quality is as good as my black ops from jacky lin. Who has experience with caseswill?
