This is officially the official thread of the officially greatest show on official television. I use official a lot.

Season 4 is out now, new episodes on sundays on FOX.

This is the OFFICIAL season 4 and Family guy thread, where you can use jokes, comment on episodes, and more...
 
starts on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim on June 3rd i believe

i watch them all the time, own all the DVDs and for some reason whenever i am drunk i watch family guy :p

I loved Stewie's line: "Ahhh... it's good to own land." And Peter's opening bit with all of the shows that have come and gone since Family Guy was "canceled".
 
I liked from the last episode when Stewie said to Louis:

Well, whatever helps you sleep at night b*tch.

And

Peter: i wish I was a tampon....Now....we play the waiting game. :p
 
My favorite is now, from the second episode, Fast Times at Buddy Cianci Jr. High, "Yeah whatever helps you sleep at night, bitch" or whatever from stewie.

I was laughing out loud at the tampon joke too. And when Stewie blew a blood vessle in his eye trying to fart... awesome. I've got it on TiVo, and might just have to watch it again. Man am I glad this show is back.

Yeah, the 2 things I busted out laughing at in that episode were when Stewie blew the blood vessel in his eye and the "Watch out for the stairs!"
 
Also...

"AHHHHHHHHHHH! AHHHHHHHHHH! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH! AHHHHHHHHHHH! LOIS!!! This isn't my batman cup!"
 
As an avid Family Guy viewer since it first aired (and was cancelled, then brought back, then cancelled, then brought back and finally rescheduled, then cancelled...) I have to say ep 402 was one of the worst. Family Guy (like the earlier years of The Simpsons) was always good at using over-the-top, crude humor to make an intelligent point and sometimes to use intelligent humor to make a crude point. 402 used primarily crude humor to make crude points -- I felt like I was watching South Park. 401 was one of the best, so there's still hope for this fourth season and I will watch every episode. Thanks to the many, many people who bought the DVDs and showed Fox that the show IS popular and just needed a stable time slot to prove it.

You know, it's funny, I kind of thought the same thing after watching it too - it just seemed a little more crass than usual, and not as tastefully done - but yet in the end, I still laughed my ass off! It's still one of my favorite shows and I'll be watching every episode without a doubt. :cool:
 
my favorite joke so far is when brain goes "is their anything lower on this remote then mute" I forgot what season it is from, buts one of the older ones...
my favorite episode is the one that was banned "i need a weinstein"

reading this thread made me wish i didn't pack up my family guy DVD's (i'm leaving to go home from school tomarrow yay :D )

I wish upon a Weinstein! That episode is one of my all time favourites. Just hilarious, I don't see why it was banned.
 
I love the part where the substitute teacher gave Chris his grades and asked him to read what he saw. He said two Ds and an F. That was hilarious!

I thought it was "2 'E's and an 'F'", but maybe my hearing is going - I was too busy staring at her chest.... ;) :cool:
 
I thought overall the last episode (402 I believe) was one of the weakest Family Guy episodes ever! No world domination plot by Stewie? What's up with that? No attempts at the life of the wife? Huh? What's up with that? :rolleyes:
