Family Guy - The Official Thread

my favorite joke so far is when brain goes "is their anything lower on this remote then mute" I forgot what season it is from, buts one of the older ones...
my favorite episode is the one that was banned "i need a weinstein"

Reminds me of the dog show episode where Brian is introduced as 'Brain Griffin'.
;)

peter says to the hot substitute....

paraphrased from memory

"hmm how to put it...." pauses trying to find the right words. "our son chris... wants to... plow you"

and after he and lois leave the teacher's office initially, peter returns and says,

"ms. whatever, i don't mean to impose but, do you have a picture of yourself that i can tape to the back of lois's head?"

haha. stellar....

big ass piniata

In the cheesy charlies episode, Peter is like "aw man brian im screwed. All i could get on such short notice was a cake and this big ass piniata" (image of Piniata shaped like a behind appears) Brian then says "I hope candy comes out of that!"

Family Guy is my life...I can do all the voices perfectly, i entertain many with my exact impressions ;) .

"AHHHHHHHHHHH! AHHHHHHHHHH! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH! AHHHHHHHHHHH! LOIS!!! This isn't my batman cup!"
Jeez, i hate when people butcher lines. Don't put quotes if you don't know what he said.
"Wo, wo, wo, wo, wo, wo, wo, wo, wo, wo, wo, wo. Lois this is not my Batman glass."

I think one of my favorite lines was:
"You know what I hate? A guy in a blue suit."
"Gullll"
"Theres one right behind me, isn't there."

And here all this time I thought Peter actually said, "Lois this is not my Batman glass", instead of "Lois this is no my Batman glass" - but since you quoted it, you must know what he said... :p

Like you said, don't use quotes if you don't know what was said. :p

Damn, typo got me. But at least i knew exactly what he said.

Eh whatever... I just watched it then thats why...

Anyway, another quote:

Meg: "I finally get my drivers lisence, and mom bets the car. How ironic."
Peter: "HEY HEY! Your mother is NOT an I-RON."

Heh... next episode looks damn funny. May be offensive to some tho.... but when is this show not?

I loved the one in "Wasted Talent" when Peter's a kid and at the Museum:
"Why did all the dinosaurs die out?"
"Because you touch yourself at night."
(Peter looks down, full of guilt)

haha that was hilarious. After that episode aired, everytime someone in my school asked a question someone would respond with "because you touch yourself at night."

i was watching the DVD's on the ferry (new london CT -> Orient point Long island) and someone next to me like family guy to.... although he didn't seem like your typical viewer of the show. He told me that he notice, in the opening when it goes "...laugh and cry..." they sometimes instead of laugh say the "f word" but i watch some of the openings and didn't catch any, anyone herd this. i think he was making it up.

That's a classic one! And thanks for linking that quote to that episode, I could never remember which episode that one came from. ;) That's the problem with the Family Guy, they always have so many of those hilarious "Remember the time when..." scenes that are completely unrelated to the story, and it's tough to remember which episodes they're from!

i dont know if anyone remembers or not, or i might just be wrong but in the episode where peter crashes the car into the satellite and they are in the DMV, he says something to meg...i believe it was" Meg, are you implying that Rosie o'donnell does not know how to drive?" ok seriously you might all think that one liner is retarded but i doubt i have ever laughed that hard in my life

My favorite episode is "To Live And Die in Dixie" Hello Ms Griffin, This is the FBI calling from your house, Listen promise you wont be mad and its probably nothing but that criminal might know where you are. Then Peter calls himself being the sheriff. :p

You can call me Officer TJ Hooker Sheriff officer TJ hooker and this is my depody Mcmillan and wife.

Yep, I know the one :D

Meg: Dad, we can't leave now, my entire life depends on getting my licence. If I can't drive, I'll never have any boyfriends, I'll never get married, and then I'll have to adopt a kid like Rosie O'Donnell!

Peter: Meg, are you implying that Rosie O'Donnell can't drive?

YES!!! I LOVE IT

best ever :D

One of my other all-time favorite Peter quotes is:

Chris: "Dad, what's a blow hole for?"
Peter: "Well son, I'll tell you what it's NOT for - and then you'll know when Dad can never go back to SeaWorld."

Anyone remember which episode this is from?

I think what he is talking about is that in some of the earlier episodes, it sounds like Stewie says "F'n cry" as opposed to "laugh'n cry". I'm not sure why, but in the later episodes it is more more clearly "laugh'n cry".

In the closed captioning of the early episodes (on TV, not sure about the subtitling on the DVDs), it's clearly captioned as "f'in cry". Later on, it was changed to "laugh and cry". I'm sure that Seth wanted it to be vague enough to get away with Stewie swearing in the title sequence, but the captioning gave it away.

I love family guy. I made this .gif a week ago of the 1st episode from the new season.
