I know what you mean. I had to put up with Harvey Birdman (my avatar) airing 1 episode in 2000, 1 episode in 2001, 4 episodes in 2002, 3 episodes in 2003, and finally a full 11 episodes in 2004. It'll be nice to see Season 3 start up here in a week!

Or, you could buy the DVD and watch it on demand...

The DVD looks awesome by the way.

Yes, I own the DVD, it's great. :) It's only for Season 1 and a bit of 2, so I have downloaded the other episodes so I have the complete collection now. When Season 2 comes out on DVD I'll be buying it as well though.

Interesting, as one of the Season 2 episodes, "Blackwatch Plaid", wasn't on the first DVD set, even though it should have been - perhaps all the 9-11 sensitivity made them not include it, just like the Osama joke on that one episode of Family Guy which they later cut out.

Wait, season 1 and 1/2 of season 2? That makes no sense - I guess they would include it with only season 2... or season 2 and 3...

Yep - not all of the "Season 2" episodes are included, there are about 7 or so missing. So, I'm not sure how they'll handle the next DVD, but I'll be buying it regardless. ;)

Is Family Guy not on tonight? Or am I just the only one getting That 70's show instead???

This is pissing me off.

There are ~4 episodes left to last the entire summer until the fall schedule, so next week is a new one, after next week there will be ~3 episodes left. Its not gonna be weekly anymore until next year... (or season)

Yep, no new episode tonight - next week there should be a new one. With only 11 episodes this season, they can't show a new one each week, or else there would be a LONG wait until next season! I'm looking forward to the movie as well, it'll be another nice Family Guy DVD to add to my collection.

Thank god... thought i missed it on sunday night. Can't wait till next week. :D

Keep in mind though, there's really only 3 or 4 episodes left in the season! It's gone by too quickly in some repsects... ;)

it's ep 303; this think it's called 'mr. griffin goes to washington'

Cool, thanks for that! That's the tricky thing with some of these Family Guy quotes, they can be so unrelated to the main plot sometimes you never know which episodes they're from... ;)

There's a great site for quotes and references,

www.familyguyfiles.com

Go there all the time for wallpaper and quotes just to laugh.

Hey Shard, what was the Osama joke that got cut out?
Was it in the Petoria episode?

Actually the episode was "Road to Rhode Island", when Brian goes to pick up Stewie from visiting his grandparents in Palm Springs, and they miss their flight home due to Brian's drunkeness, Brian ultimately searches down his (dead) mom, etc.

When they're in the airport, Stewie distracts the security guards by singing a song so that they don't watch the X-Ray machine and see his bag full of weapons going through. After he passes through, he scoffs and says, "Lets hope Osama Bin Laden doesn't know show tunes!" at which point Osama steps up and starts singing, "I hope I get it, I hope I hope I get it!" etc. while his bag of weapons goes through.

Since this aired pre-9-11, they cut it out of all future airings and cut it out of the DVD version of the episode as well. I am lucky and have the originally aired episode on VHS still.

Cool, I have the DVDs and didn't watch it on TV (I don't watch TV) so I would have never known.

No problem, glad to enlighten! ;) There was another joke that was cut out of another episode (can't remember which one now...) which involved JFK as well... I'd have to scrounge thorugh my tapes to find it - it didn't make the DVD versions either...

Its cut out of the season DVD (the Osama joke), but in the Freakin' Sweet collection of Seth MacFarlanes favorite episodes, the joke is in. All the episodes are uncensored (except for the sex scene - thats not in the DVD or on TV in Road to Road Island)

Ah good to know, glad to see it made it into one version.

And if the sex scene didn't make it into any version, how do you know about it? ;)

Hmm. I was Brian as well. I guess my opinion has been correct this entire time, "I AM the best friend my friends could ever hope for". ;)
