FAN accounts and buying iPhone

Will you be able to use your FAN discount on the new data plans like some could do on the old?

Nope. Anything under $30 isn't eligible for the discount. Which is why I won't be changing my plan because I pay $23 for my data plan with the discount.

I called customer care yesterday to ask about this, and the rep. said that the $25 data plan would qualify to receive the discount for people with a FAN account……

It was a problem. Since I'm an employee (not in mobility), I've the employee FAN and it had to be removed and re-added when I got my phone. I don't think it's an issue anymore. I've had coworkers who added it without issue.
