Fantastical Maker Flexibits Launches 'Cardhop' Interactive Contact Management App for Macs

You never do a bulk email with the TO or CC field. Always use BCC and put your email address in the TO field.
Otherwise if anyone in your list just happens to run that "Windows" software and has a virus or malware everyone will start getting spam emails or worse.

They made another app specifically for chat history called, Chatology, which is available for trial and purchase on their website.

I own Chatology and it's my favorite app that this company makes [i'm in the minority that doesn't like Fantastical]. But it really is a standalone app, meant for the sole purpose of arching SMS and iMessages. It can sometimes have a problem linking a phone number/e.mail address to a contact [so the entry for someone may be semi-duplicated - one with a phone number and some chats, and one with their name and most of their chats]. The app doesn't see regular updates, but it is working fine under 10.12 [i haven't upgraded to 10.13 yet]. Anyway, I really do like the app, as it makes searching old chats very easy. I think it does need some attention and some bug fixing, however.

Concur. I downloaded the Cardhop trial and I'm scratching my head wondering how Flexibits are going to sell this when BusyContacts does so much more. Actually, with or without BusyCa, who would pay so much for so few little?

I think nutmac's post said it well, #20 , as Flexbits' app is cheaper than BusyContacts. It's a shame though - Flexbits has a calendar app and a chat archiving app - seems like a big miss not to integrate the two with Cardhop.
I've been incredibly impressed with BusyContacts and it gets regular updates.

What really has me scratching my head is the lack of iOS version of these apps. For people on the go, or who have switched completely to using an iPad for their computer, an iOS app is essential to do their work.

Hopefully these companies realize how much money that they are leaving on the table and make iOS versions of their apps.

I would pay on day 1 or even upfront for an iOS version of BusyContacts. Meanwhile, I find BusyCal works better for me than Fantastical on all platforms and I keep returning to it as the default.

Same - I love BusyCal on both macOS and iOS and use BusyContacts daily on macOS - hopeful they will make a version for iOS too, as I have not been happy with any of the 3rd party Contacts app alternatives out there.
