depends on what you mean by favorite color... on who?

i don't have a preference one way or the other with the guys (or the previous occasional girls) i've been with. (ignore the bomb i just dropped please) i seem to gravitate a bit more towards lighter hair. i prefer easy-going people and seem to find this more in lighter hair. <shrugs>

my own hair has been more colors than i can remember but it always seems to end up blonde again. my natural color is an auburn/light brown (i think, i don't remember :p ) and it's heavily highlighted blonde. i get many compliments on my hair and honestly i think people seem to look my way more when it's blonde. that almost inspires me to darken it (as i am rather social phobic and hate people as a general rule)

it seems people with darker hair are taken more seriously. perhaps for this reason i like my lighter hair ;) life's too short to be too serious. :p

Same with me! I always end up back at red, though. Naturally, mine is blonde-aurburn, and really red highlights if I'm in the sun a lot.

If we are talking favorite hair-color on me, then the answer is Grey and/or salt-n-pepper. I am still too young for naturally grey hair (although the stress builds), but have had grey hair a few times in my life through haircoloring "accidents". I really liked it and it suited me well.

As for hair color on others, it depends. I am not that particular. I will say that I have only ever dated one blonde woman in my life and quite a few redheads considering their % of the population. Overall, in terms of physical type, I like pale skin, dark hair and light eyes - so brown-to-black wins on sheer statistics.

EDIT: Damn, he deleted it.

By the way Raven, is "Bailey's Mint Chocolate" a drink you buy already in the bottle (preferably in large quantities) or is it just a cocktail?

I've got dark hair, and prefer dark hair in a partner. I didn't vote, because I'd have to vote "black", "dark brown" and "brown" at the same time.

Having said that, grey hair is quite attractive as well on the right person - I currently know a guy who's grey and is rather lovely. :)

Lately I've been thinking of doing something really different and dying mine that blue-black colour but I'm not sure if it'll look any good, so I probably won't.

Blue-black? I don't really understand how black can look blue, or vice versa, but avoid any sort of blue in your hair, I say. I'm no fashionista, so you'll have to take my word for it. ;)

I prefer black, brown, or light brown hair. I'm chinese and have black hair and auburn eyes. Is that why I prefer this hair and eye colour in the opposite sex? I did have a think for light brown hair and blue eyes, but right now, if she's alive and breathing, that's good enough.

I prefer myself blond but brown does it for me. Just because caroline pulls off red streaks very well. brown+red (not ginger) goes oh-so well. Especially with her complexion.

Why no ginger? Don't americans call it ginger?

I have very blonde (died, naturally a dirty blonde) hair, but would prefer to have a deep chestnut. But it looks silly on me. I've been through all the colors and the blonde is the only shade that suits me. On other people I really don't have a preference, since everyone has their own individual "look" that works for them. I have always steered towards dark brown-haired guys though. I love that shiny jet black on women but that doesn't work for everyone.

Yeah it's a bit strange, but it looks black but when under light it has a bluish tinge to it. It's probably a little too radical for me anyway.

wow, we are one odd group to have voted red as the majority. Sure, you all are probably trying to spite me, thank you, to all the hateful people who want to see me cry  :( :D

I love black hair, but ended up marrying a blonde.

Hair colour ain't the most important thing in a marriage.

You can buy it. I've a few bottles downstairs :D It's a little more expensive, but very very nice :)

A proper, natural red for me, please

I like dark haired men and I have a deep-down envy of women that have dark brown hair. I, myself, have a hodge-podge of colors in my hair naturally. I call it B.L.A.H. (Brownish-bLondish-Auburnish Hair). It's lighter than I'd like it to be, but darker than what I'd hate it to be--blonde (been there, done that, hated it). Colored it dark brown for a while, but disliked the damage and expense that it brought.

As for the hubby? He's Indian so dark hair's a given, and he looks sexy to me. Grrrowl.... ;) :)
