So in the USA you’re forced to pass through a carrier even on the Apple Store pre orders? No way to get it unlocked at launch?
only if you have T-Mobile
Go through the process as if you're purchasing it and then in the final step there will be a heart in the top right corner, just tap that and you're good to go.Hi,
How do I favorite my selection for the iPhone X? I can't seem to find it.
Thanks, Jerry

Thank you, it wasn't there at first but just showed up. Tonight, I just go to my account and buy it from there?
Thanks again
Yea and double check what payment and shipping settings you have right away since the store will be down several hours before the live pre orderThank you, it wasn't there at first but just showed up. Tonight, I just go to my account and buy it from there?

Choose T-Mobile.It really sounds like IUP pre approved users have a leg up since carrier and credit check has already been performed and all they have to do once pre orders up is to just confirm the order and choose in store or delivery.
Is there a way to buy outright which doesn't require carrier information from Apple?
Anyone know what extra information you need for pre-ordering through Sprint? For me (on ATT Next) it requires phone number, zip code, then last four of SS. After than, I choose what Next plan I want to use and then choose that my current phone is in good shape to trade in. Then it’ll add to cart.
The T-Mobile ones are not unlocked. Apple stopped doing that when the 6s came out. You can pay full price but they’re not unlocked out of the box.only if you have T-Mobile

Is that all?You need to enter your phone number and the account PIN
I'd imagine if that was the case, Apple would advertise: "Join our program and you'll have preferred access to new products!" I don't think that's the case. How is someone on an IUP program going to be preferred over someone who is paying full price? I don't see how stock would be reserved for one group and not the other.Yeah, anyone saying IUP is not an advantage during preorder is crazy. And plus - why SHOULDNT it be an advantage? You’re on Apple’s in-house program.
Looking forward to preordering tonight and getting a launch shipment. As long as we wake up on time, I can’t see how all IUP members don’t get their orders in before everyone else. That doesn’t mean there will be enough launch stock for all of us, but I’d imagine we’ll all be done ordering before regular users are.
Yeah, I practiced, going through the motions with iPhone 8 the other dayIs that all?

Tmobile model, which is the one I’m getting, will be the absolute easiest. No carrier verification, SSN, zip code entry, or anything. Just select from favorites, hit “Continue”, Pay with Apple Pay, TouchID and done.
Of course, it will also be the quickest to sell out because of this reason, I’m sure.
