Either gnocchi or freshly baked italian bred with mozzarella, fried onions, thin sliced italian ham and olive oil. Junk food would have to be philly cheese stake!

you can't beat Marmite on hot toast and butter

I looked up Marmite for more info on it, which is fine, but nowhere could I find what Marmite tastes like.

Can anyone here describe what it tastes like for me? Can it be compared to anything else?

Kalamata olives and feta cheese with a fresh, sun-warmed, perfectly ripened tomato (in summer), garnished with fresh basil and a dash of balsamic vinegar. Also like this same combo using fresh mozarella cheese, which is the more traditional version.

sticky rice with stir fried vegetables + pineapple in a sweat and sour soup type thing.

Wow, I never heard of those before. They look really good... is the fruit filling/icing/spread under the chocolate always orange?
That'll be The Smashing Orangey Bit™. It's always an orange jelly, apart from the odd special limited edition where they try other stuff, like blackcurrant.

However, it's generally accepted that such things are blasphemy.

Marmite and toast: breakfast of champions. And possibly some losers as well. But mostly champions.

Vegemite on toast is quite possibly the greatest food to quench a massive hangover there is.

Vegemite is a yeast extract left over from the production of beer, it contains large amounts of Vitamin B and as such is great to eat after you've spent the night eating backwards.

Most definitely an acquired taste but far more satisfying than god-awful peanut butter. PB is gross in anything more than a thin layer and it has to be as crunchy as possible, smooth Peanut Butter makes me feel ill.

As I understand, vegaterian's do not eat animal products.

Assuming that is correct, you might want to double check your Asian/oriental food outlet recipes for animal products used the preparation of their vegetable dishes. You might be surprised.

i have a good relationship with the owner who is vegetarian himself.

and my vegetarianism is not a religion, i dont abide by rules it's not like i'm denying myself something i just choose not to eat meat because eating the flesh of a dead animal freaks me out, i have no problem with gelatine or whatever

Chinese food. Breakfast, lunch, dinner.

When I was a kid, I was extremely bratty when it came to food-- hated fast food and burgers; I'd refuse to eat unless it was Chinese (or similar). It worked out all right since my dad was (and still is) even worse about it.
