There's a piled up plate sitting right next to me now. :D

Well, I sobered up early last night so the inside of my head resembles your avatar - crystal clear. The outside of my head however.....

i have a good relationship with the owner who is vegetarian himself.

and my vegetarianism is not a religion, i dont abide by rules it's not like i'm denying myself something i just choose not to eat meat because eating the flesh of a dead animal freaks me out, i have no problem with gelatine or whatever
Roger that.

Some folks I've known who are strick vegetarian's always worry about the process since many times animal products are used in preparation.

Before I came to Japan, I used to eat a lot of red meat, chicken and very little fish. Now I eat a whole lot more fish and a lot less red meat.

Hmm let me see
-Sushi
-Spring Rolls
-Maryland Crab Cakes ( I mean come on I live in MD  )
-Perogies
-Fried Rice
-Everything Bagels
-Apples (Preferably McIntosh Apples :D )
Oh yea, and Light Buttered Popcorn

Well, it seems to change, but as of right now:

Burrito from a local place with spanish rice, black beans, mexican bbq chicken, cheese, guacamole, salsa, etc. Definitely an "authentic" place if you know what i mean. ;)

Hi,

I read your quote and YES I know what you mean. It sounds delicious.. Burrito,mmm... Just thinking about it.

Sushi7 ;)

Quality Mexican food (not Taco Bell)
Indian food (Tandoori, etc.)

I loved Jaffa Cakes when I was living in the UK (along with the digestive biscuits covered in chocolate-what are they called?), and I used to eat Chicken & Mushroom Pot Noodle like it was going out of style. Mmm...junk food!

A good lean dish of Basashi.

Of course I wouldn't turn down a sushi dinner, nor a wonderful cut of steak grilled just right.

Sure can't beat a nice cup of basashi ice cream on a hot humid Tokyo summer's day.

I'd have to say I love katsukare (for all you Japanese cuisine fans).

The basashi I know is raw horse meat. Similar to tuna in that there are basically three grades: Akami, Chu-toro and O'Toro. It's usually served sashimi style but also in various cooked forms.

I have never heard nor had basashi ice cream before. Sounds interesting. Where can you get it?

Cheese 'n crackers for a snack, and, for a meal, my mom's home made chicken pot pie. I love that stuff. :D

Deluxe (pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions, and green peppers) Pizza, any kind of Japanese, Korean, or Italian food but that's not a very narrow selection.

Japanese: shabu shabu
Korean: den jang ji gae
Italian: ravioli

if I had to choose quickly.

just about anything that used to be breathing, mostly prawns and beer, it is so satisfying to know that about 150 died for you to eat a kilo of em':D

Obvliously the vegetarian thread is something i have steered away from:p
Vegemite on toast would come in a close second, lthough it has to be real butter, imitates homer simpson mmmmmmmm yeast extract droolsssss
