iPad mini FB Messenger Issues

Evening all I’m having issues with Facebook messenger not loading on my iPad mini 2021. I’m currently running the beta for iPad os 16.2 and also had the same issue on iPad os 16.1.

I install the app just fine but then when I open it for the first time it just gets stuck on a little spinning symbol as seen in the picture attached.

Has anyone else had this issue and does anyone know how to fix it.

I’m running Messenger on my Mini 6 running iPadOS 16.1 without any problems.

Yes. Uninstall the Facebook app. Messenger will open. Then reinstall Facebook.
