I don't think I'd have much of a chance against lobbyists of the multi-billion dollar cell phone industry.

Just curious, do you have expertise in assessing radiation risk or are you just assuming it's small?

Steve Jobs was a total jerk.

The factory where they are made use slave labor.

One can say these things and still like the iPhone.

You are assuming that individuals have no input in the regulatory process. You are probably incorrect. Try it and see, you might be surprised. If you don't try you won't succeed, which is what 'they' want.

And no, I'm not a radiation expert, I'm a morbidity expert. And cancer trends are going down during the time cellphone usage has been rising.

Nonsense. And why they "SCARE QUOTES" around the word safe? The radiation emitted from the iPhone is weaker than that form of radiation known as the earth's magnetic field -- you know -- that ever present force that makes compasses point north. So anyone concerned about how "unsafe" their phone is should probably consider that there are far, far larger natural emitters of radiation all around us, all of which have effects ranging from zero to negligible.
What a load of bs. Earth's magnetic field is a static magnetic field and does not radiate anything, at least not in any relevant frequency range. No idea where you got this from.

Other companies are scrutinized for their worker conditions. If Apple gets more scrutiny, that may be in part because of the image they project as being different.
And Apple has guidelines in place and regular inspections as well.

And as for the CEO of other companies, not all of them like to bask in the limelight and exaggerate their contributions.
This is loaded. IMO, More than a few like to bask in the limelight and exaggerate their contributions. Now let’s talk about Apple. Steve Jobs: limelight basking. Tim Cook: not so much. Neither exaggerated their contributions.

Right, and that's the reason Elon Musk gets the attention he does, along with the criticism, as did Jobs. I bet most people don't even know the CEO of Ford.

As for exaggerating their contribution, come on, Jobs enjoyed and encouraged the attention he got as an inventor but according to Woz he did none of the hardware or software on the original Macintosh. Even Ive has said that Jobs took too much credit for things.
