are you running Jaguar? I don't remember a striped menu bar in Tiger or Panther.

I did have menushade installed, so maybe that was it.

Definitely not Tiger. The Apple logo in the corner of Tiger was solid blue, and notice the icons in his dock, specifically the iChat logo. Definitely Panther or earlier.

Agreed it is defo not Tiger. I think it is pre Panther as the apple logo was toned down for Panther, I'd guess it was Jaguar but it is really hard to tell the difference between Jaguar and Puma as I wasn't a user of them.

Yep, it's not Tiger. You can also tell this by the lack of a spotlight icon in the menu bar.

I assume you mean Panther...because Puma is the cat coming after our new family member Leopard.

Here's mine, with the original, in celebration of my newest Apple acquisition - a PowerMac "Mystic" Gigabit Ethernet (2x450MHz) G4. It's currently running Mac OS X 10.4.11 just fine, but will shortly get a DVD-RW drive and upgraded video card upgrade so that it will run it even better! I'm really stoked, as I absolutely LOVE this design.

I've taken the liberty of including the original, not that anyone wants it anyway 🙄 The desktop is from my iMac, R2-D2 - the G4 is Anakin Skywalker (yes, I have a bit of a Star Wars thing going on - my MacBook Pro is Qui-Gon Jinn and my iPhone is C-3PO).
