Gotta love Chris van Allsburg... I'm currently looking for more of his, large enough to use as wallpapers.

Its not that bad actually. Its not as brain dead easy to get set up and run as Mac OS X is but id say its no harder then windows most of the time. If you got a old spare pc around the house try it, its not bad. I prefer PcLinuxOS myself but Ubuntu is cool too. I don't run Linux on my Macs though just my old PC. lol

will give it a try, the thing is free right?
 
to put the dock on the right, type:

defaults write com.apple.dock pinning -string end

to pin it on the left, replace "end" with "start"

then type killall Dock
