Nice. Can I get a link?

Thanks.
Hey folks, what's the normal procedure if a link is asked for but it's a simply a photo taken by you? Post an appropriate size Jpeg for the relevant desktop?
Am I asking a stupid question?! Posting a Jpeg seems obvious but feels 'clumsy' for some reason, although it shouldn't!
Oh I dunno....!

Thanks.

press :apple:+shift+3 with the entire desktop viewable (doing this right after restarting the computer is a prime time for this).

He already did that judging by his original post with the wallpaper.

Just post one of the image alone that's 1280X800.

I don't think there is a "normal" procedure. In the past, I've PM'd folks myself and asked if they wouldn't mind sharing their great image with me, and then they've emailed it to me. :)

I always ask in private, myself, because I realize not everyone is comfortable sharing their photos in higher resolutions and whatnot. But that's just me. If you don't mind, and your image is within MR's upload limits-- then by all means, post it for lotsa folks to enjoy! :)

Thanks, I actually meant the background, the super-graphite aqua. Not the dark menubar theme.:D

I don't know if I'm either being dim or it's just that I don't know the basics, but when exporting it from iPhoto it preserves the 4:3 aspect ratio? I figured you'd want the entire width and could chop off some height, but it wouldn't let me enter 800 as height. If you don't wanna chop off some height and can tell me how to export it to your requirements then I'll post again.

I presume you've tried using the crop tool to try and chop off the right amount? If it won't let you then I'm genuinely stumped as well!

Thanks for posting the picture though - this latest one is AMAZING. You should be selling prints! :p

That's the perfect wallpaper for a 12" iBook!

I agree! It looks awesome. Not to go too much off-topic, but these things get awesome battery life. I've been on this for probably 2 hours or so and still have about 50% life left. Awesome.

My Eee PC (bought it, thought it was too small+no OS X, so I bought this iBook) would only get around 2 1/2 hours or so of total battery life.

Ta for the replies, and the general advice devilot.
noobasaur, here's the photo, but it's at 1280x960. Again, I don't know if I'm either being dim or it's just that I don't know the basics, but when exporting it from iPhoto it preserves the 4:3 aspect ratio? I figured you'd want the entire width and could chop off some height, but it wouldn't let me enter 800 as height. I feel that I should know this, and it really annoys me that I don't!
Anyway, hope it's not a hassle, but if you want it to 1280x800 and can tell me how I'd appreciate just knowing! And maybe if you see another of mine that you like, next time you'll get it exactly as you want it. Without delay!

Hey it's okay and thanks.

I usually use Preview to resize instead of iphoto by the way.
