:)Hey Everythingisnt, thanks for posting that! I feel quite chuffed and not a little honoured that you have a photo of mine as your desktop. Nice of you to post that:)
I have to say that if my dock(which is always hidden)were to meet your dock in a dark alleyway and have a serious disagreement, I think mine would be on the end of hell of a beating!! That's why it's hidden I s'pose!

And thankyou for the compliments on my photos/desktops young man; you have if I may say so excellent taste!;) But then I already knew that given our previous sharing of affection re: Alfie Bester & Phil Dick.
Whilst I'm here, may I recommend a wonderful and very, very special novel to you, by a favourite(putting it mildly)author of mine? It's called 'Light' by M John Harrison. It is a work of the very highest order. And if you care to read the customers comments on Amazon, take it as the firmest of recommendations that a fair few find it a little 'tough' or 'lacking' to some degree. A half century from now, just like Alfie's glittering gems, 'Light' will be revered.
Believe me. It's a sparkling sapphire partially hidden on a vast beach of dull pebbles.
You take care out there. Soon. Carl.

Haha, it's true that my Dock has a looong history of being somewhat bloated ;).. Nonetheless I'm quite prepared to sacrifice the aesthetic pleasures of having a minimalist dock for having most of what I require within the range of one click!

In any case, the honor is all mine! I've found your work to be vastly inspirational and, well, almost indescribable in its vision. Your photos inspire many thoughts and feelings in me whenever I look at them. Hopefully I'll see more on the Photo of the Day thread!

Also, THANK YOU for the recommendation! It's always wonderful to find something new and interesting to read - and if our previous tastes in literature are anything to go by, I'm sure that I'll find "Light" to be an amazing read.

r00 did you make that yourself? It's absolutely the best wallpaper I've seen in this forum so far (no offense to anyone else, there have been many, many great posts!) I'm not sure I agree with the above poster about your HD icon and dock. I think it kind of is a nice contrast that keeps everything in balance, IMHO. In any case, two thumbs up!

Here's mine I have like 10 others but I like this one as one of my favorites:

Heres one of my other favorites. Reminds of the summer when I go down with my friends to the shore here in jersey(about 45 mins from my house) its fun though! On the boardwalk until 12am playing games! It's winter now but the fun will start back up in about 2 months! Can't wait! I go to Seaside Heights!

Where did you live?
I'd rather not list specifics. ;) Let's just say, within ten minutes walking-distance of a overhang to the ocean. You could hear the gulls when all was quiet at night or early in the morning. You could feel the foggy misty spray in the mornings...

*sigh*

devilot... that's a great picture. Looks like a nice place to live!
I thought it was a nice image, as well, but I didn't take it. ;) Hence, the link in my previous post.

NP. I was simply curious because I live in San Diego and it 'kinda reminds me of the OB pier.

Whoa Thats weird. Thats my desktop picture also. I edited it a little bit though. I love that picture too. Its even more of a coincidence that we both live in Orlando.
