Sure you were downloading Ubuntu... along with discographies of various artist.
Well, I've downloaded Ubuntu using uTorrent since I couldn't get it to download from the website for some dumb reason and then realized I didn't have a blank DVD to install it. >_<
Woot, 63KB/s!

I think what I like the most in this one is the contradiction between the GeekTool clock and the Apple clock! :D

^^ Looking shaaaahp mate :) I love those docks.. er, non-docks..

Well, it's been four days. Time fer a change. Link (I think someone else had this a few pages back...)

Can you show/tell me how to implement the dock that you have? I've looked around the thread and so far I only understand that it uses clear dock...
In fact, if some one does write an explanation, can they make it a sticky?

Hiya all!

I have been wanting a wanting to post my February Desktop here for a while now, but I was away from a Photoshop equipped computer for most of the month (which was murder in the first degree :D)

Going for something very simple, since I am celebrating having a computer again since the last one was lost at the country house (South Eastern Victoria) during Black Saturday :-(

Here is my neww desktop!! ('tis a shame that I will have to change it come new moon :-')

Picture 1.png

Enjoyyy! :D

P.M or post me for a link if you want one.

I'm really liking this one!! Any link to the original? and the GeekTools script you used to get it all set up?

I used clancemasterj's psd, found here. http://Clancemasterj.deviantart.com/...Wall-113347299
Then I played with it a bit, changed the wallpaper to the color of my room, and made one of the picture frames into an atomic clock. Examplehttp://www.flickr.com/photos/32201224@N02/3306719018/sizes/l/

Then I used geektool and used this fonthttp://www.dafont.com/ds-digital.font

The geektool codes I used were:
Code:
date +%l:%M
Code:
date +%d
Code:
date +%B
Code:
date +%A
Code:
date +"%p"

For the weather you need Lynx, found herehttp://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/unix_open_source/lynxtextwebbrowser.html

I used two codes; one to display the temperature, and the other to display the condition. (NOTE: In the code, when it says ZIPCODE, insert your own zipcode.)

Code:
lynx -dump http://printer.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/getForecast?query=ZIPCODE|awk '/Temp/{printf $2, ": "; for (i=3; i<=3; i++) printf $i " " }'
Code:
lynx -dump http://printer.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/getForecast?query=ZIPCODE|awk '/Cond/ && !/Fore/ {for (i=2; i<=10; i++) printf $i " " }'
