February Orders of iMac 27"

There's always the chance. As of last Friday morning mine was still processing. It went to preparing for dispatch and then dispatched in the same day. Since then it's been in Cork, Dublin, Tamworth, Barking, Brussels and now Herne-Boernig. The UPS tracking says it'll arrive by 'end of day' tomorrow. That's only 6 days from being sat at processing to (hopefully!) being delivered.
Scary... All my crying in here must have been noticed by whoever packs that thing in a box... Status went directly to shipped....

Once mine went to dispatched I tried to track it and it didn't seem to work. Less than half an hour later the details had changed on Apple and I had a different tracking number. Once you have that you can track it with UPS. You can just paste the tracking number into google and hit search - it'll bring up UPS for you.
As of 0530 this morning, mine was "out for delivery"...
I just took delivery. So far, so good!
I thought my Crucial RAM would have been here by now though, ah well. Something else to look forward to.

Was processing order until today when I checked half an hour ago. Now preparing for shipment
The delivery date is 3/21-3/23 so I expect it most likely will arrive saturday, MAYBE friday if they ship tonight

Yikes! Guess they really mean it when they say 5-7 business days. Ordered mine 12:12pm EDT today so in all likelihood it won't ship til late next week.

Looks like processing times have dropped to 3-5 days, at least here in the US. My delivery estimate changed from Apr 2-4 to Apr 1-3. Fingers crossed.

When did you order yours? I'm also off on the 29th but I won't even dare imagine I'll have it in hand by then.
I should point out in case I wasn't clear that I'm still in the "Processing" stage and haven't yet gotten to "Preparing for shipment". I'm psychotically refreshing the Order Status page because I have an unhealthy need to know the moment it's changed status.
The video card went out on my 2008 24" iMac last week so I ordered a new iMac on March 13. 3.4 i7, 16GB, 3TB fusion. It came last night, so 1 week from order to unboxing. I live in LA so the FedEx ground time was only two days.
It was the first time I've done a restore from Time Machine so I was a little worried, but it went fine. Target Disk mode still works on the broken iMac so when my TB-FW adapter comes tomorrow I can pull off the few files I didn't back up (It's all stuff I can get from elsewhere but easier this way)

Ordered my fully upgraded 27-inch on the 18th. Expecting it to reach my doorstep on the 25th. I think I'd apply one week leave just to spend time with my new love.
Well mine has arrived in germany actually just an hour drive from me... But its a major dispatchcenter for UPS and it will be delivered on monday since the won't go through the container to look for my box...
Another 72h to read everything about the mightymac and watch hundreds of imac videos...they really know how to keep the customer drooling...i hope it lives up to my expectaition...

Ordered Friday afternoon (the 15th), around 2pm CST. I ordered the 27" i7 with the 3TB Fusion, and it was "processing" until yesterday morning when it went to preparing for shipment. I received my shipment notification email last night and it looks like it's assembled in CA, yay
And yes, my dates have been moved up, previously it said delivers Mar 28-Apr 4, my shipment email said delivers the 28th, and Fedex tracking shows that it is getting delivered the 27th. Looks like I'll be able to move all my media over and be able to actually play with it Friday instead of get it set up then

So it looks like for me as long as the pattern holds I'll need to keep it together until middle of next week since it's unlikely the status will change before then.
Failed graphics card
Spent nearly a year saving up for an iMac......researching apple.... The joy at the new iMac being released.....The best combination for me......Finally took the plunge & ordered..... Que 2 weeks of excitement & build up......tidying & clearing down my study in preparation..... Finally arrived last Monday.....
After setting up I immediately couldn't keep away from exploring & messing however I couldn't help but notice in everything I did it wasn't as sharpe as I was imagining it to be. This was most noticeable in all the menus & messages where the writing almost seemed a little blurred & like the old fashioned text messages we all used to see where you can almost make out the pixels making up the letters/numbers!!
Cut a long story short it turns out the screens resolution was operating on roughly 1200 x 780. Several phone calls to apple & various re boots etc they tell me the graphics card is fine but not working on the machine so some kind of hardware compatibility issues.......
Consequently they are sending me a brand new machine so the same specs & I will have to send it back! So the last week has been wasted with me setting it up to my preferences.
The guy said it would of been sent out like this with the graphics card not working as this was how it started straight out of the box..... How could a company like apple allow such a simple mistake to happen in the first place & not even identify its not working before sending out?!?
Very disappointed & let down apple Fan, which has taken the edge of me buying my very first IMac......!!!!!!!

Shipped early this morning NY time and scheduled to arrive by EOD Friday! So done with the OCD-level refreshes to monitor when the order goes from Processing to Prepared and onto OCD-level refreshes at the UPS site to see where the machine's at.
