I remember trying my moms Pepsi Kona and thinking that it was sick. I however after acquiring a taste for coffee and coke(beverage kind) while in college might end up liking it. It would truly be the ultimate teeth stainer.
Why would someone want to the filtering organ of a slaughtered beast, or cheese that has mould growing in it , or perhaps the raw musculature and innards of a mollusk?
Liver is nasty, especially when the guys in the meat dept. don't wrap it correctly. Bleu Cheese is disgusting, and I only eat cooked clams/quawhogs/scallops. Also, I hear oysters have really sharp edges.
I had the opportunity to try this coffee a few years ago back when it was about $1,000 a pound ( I am not kidding)
and I must say the flavor was quite different from the starbucks roasts that I usually drink.
Much more mellow, non-bitter, with a kind of smokey nutty taste, and best of all since I drank it black no upset stomach afterward like I have with other black coffee.
Would I drink it every day ? No, but occasionaly as a treat to something different it is worth it, we now have a coffee shop in Vancouver that serves this on their regular menu. But then again we also have cafe's that sell pot and food for the munchies afterwards....
