the delivery time changed from 3pm to 8pm now.

sorta off topic, but i ordered an iMac last fall, used the the Sign for Delivery form that is found on Apple's site, which i taped to the front door. in return, the Fed Ex driver stuck their Need's Signature slip right next to it and didn't leave the iMac.

There have been reports of this, which is precisely why UPS and FedEx would rather not leave it at the door and make waiver-signers assume ALL liability.

If you live in the DC area, in a condo or apartment be prepared for Fedex to not leave the package under and circumstance. Even with a pre-sign.

Hidden Fedex policy for that area makes it against the rules to leave packages.

I called my next door neighbor and a good friend of ours. She doesnt work fridays-weekends.

She's holding it for safekeeping!

NO SIGNATURE. Driver dropped it off and left.
