So yesterday morning the phone is in China.
Last night it was in Alaska.
This morning it was in Indiana.
This afternoon, at 5:38 it was in my driveway.... and not delivered.
The delivery person walked right past the front door where I was instructed to leave my signature and after knocking on the back door, gave up.
I am not angry so much (ok, a bit annoyed). What I am is simply stunned that with a supply chain extending globally, incredible logistics, millions of dollars in equipment and vehicles... the delivery fails, literally, in the last 30 feet.
Perhaps the moral is that there is no amount of money or fail-safe that can stand against a lone, dedicated screw-up mistake.
I guess I'll be content to play with my phone tomorrow and be grateful for this being my biggest problem of the day.
