dont believe fed-ex!! they told me i wasn't getting my till tomorrow and online it says it at local fed-ex felicity. its all lies its in my hand!! Keep up hope for the 23rd if you got the e-mail!
its 5:48 here.. i havent seen fedex pass by but still :(

Don't believe FedEx, I saw that mine has not updated on the tracking info, I called them, they said I would get it tomorrow, and I got it today. mm.

Strangely, that's not my best case scenario.

Called Fed Ex CS twice. Both said my Chicago delivery was stuck near Indy but for possibly different reasons: "Some sorting facility problem" versus "Broken down truck or weather or something."

Ok mine just updated to say it left Ft. Worth, TX at 11:00 AM. Looks like a delivery for me tomorrow.

All Good Intentions

So yesterday morning the phone is in China.
Last night it was in Alaska.
This morning it was in Indiana.
This afternoon, at 5:38 it was in my driveway.... and not delivered.

The delivery person walked right past the front door where I was instructed to leave my signature and after knocking on the back door, gave up.

I am not angry so much (ok, a bit annoyed). What I am is simply stunned that with a supply chain extending globally, incredible logistics, millions of dollars in equipment and vehicles... the delivery fails, literally, in the last 30 feet.

Perhaps the moral is that there is no amount of money or fail-safe that can stand against a lone, dedicated screw-up mistake.

I guess I'll be content to play with my phone tomorrow and be grateful for this being my biggest problem of the day.

its here!

in Berkeley. at 3:14p it just arrived.

the fedex delivery guy said that he had been delivering these boxes all day, and was so amazed that everybody is at home today. :)

No Phones From Texas!!!

I was just told by a FedEx rep that my package scheduled to arrive by 3PM today is delayed due to the weather yesterday in Texas!

I&^$&%&%^(&^$*^$%&^%R^*^%&^E%$&%*^%$#WR

FedEx makes me happy

So it is here. It touched down at 14:52. Before the 15:00 deadline. FedEx guys says out of 98 stops 88 were for iPhones. It activated and is now synchronizing. Can go and make others happy now :)

Odd, Fedex person rang door bell and I just saw her ponytail as she was running down the stairs. A colleague of mine said that his was left at his porch as well, so apparently in my state no signature is required. Sorry you have to wait another day. It is swwweeeeeeeeet!

F*ck FedEx. I've been waiting all day at my office until 4PM (it says "On FedEx for delivery"). Until I called and being told that they tried to deliver it, apparently to a wrong address, at 10.40AM this morning.

F*cking amateur. Wrong address your a*s. My office gets FedEx delivery every day!

:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Just got mine too, even though FedEx was still saying it would be tomorrow. I'll admit I was skeptical, but the next time I get an email from Apple saying it WILL be delivered on the 23rd, I'll believe it...

Finally!!!!

Radio Silence

Anyone preorder on the 15th and have yet to get any shipment notifications? I'm in LA, Apple's website says it has yet to ship it, but it's still supposed to arrive tomorrow.

That's okay, apparently no one notified UPS that AT&T stores (at least the one I preordered from) should receive their shipments on the 23rd instead of the 24th. After checking my tracking info, it showed that my phone shipped on the 21st via Next Day Air, yet it for some odd reason had a delayed delivery date of the 24th. Oh well, guess I'll go get it tomorrow afternoon.

delayed in SoCal

Socal in the 714. FedEx never came and my delivery date of the 23rd disappeared from the tracking page. Called FedEx and they said there was a delay and it will be delivered tomorrow. They must have got slammed today. LOL

there are about 100 people in line in nyc at the 14th st store tonight - i walk by at 10pm they said there are about 500 at 59th st. btw i took this pic with my iphone 4.

Yep, me tooz

iPhone 4

My iPhone tracking shows it's in Rockford, IL right now on it's way to the AT&T store (45 minutes away)... Does anyone know if I show up when the doors open at 8am, will I be able to get an iphone since I pre-ordered first thing on the 15th, or do I have to wait until "my" iphone actually arrives at the store which might be later in the afternoon?? They didn't tell me ANYTHING when I ordered the phone, so I'm guessing I can just show up anytime on launch day and get a phone?
