Nope. I'm super disappointed too. I don't like those cases like that at all. Don't know why they couldn't leave the design the way it was. Bummer.

Because the 5S cases kept ripping at the bottom around the lightning port hole and Apple would replace them which I'm sure they hated. Plus, this phone is even thinner than the 5S so I can't imagine how much easier it'd rip if they kept it this way (even mine ripped). Also, for docking purposes.

I've had an Otterbox Armor on my 5 and the 6+ is about the same width (obviously much thinner) and about 1/2" taller. So not that far off. The 6+ will obviously get bigger once I add a case though.

Ok, I'm convinced I'm getting the leather midnight blue case for my silver 6 plus...

Nice Post

Like the others, I also like the way the blue leather looks in your photo.

I've got the exact same dark silver Mophie on my iPhone 5 right now, and last Friday I ordered the Silver Plus and the Midnight Blue leather case. I think that dark blue case is a really nice match for the silver/white Plus.

Which color phone did you choose with that case?

Pete

Thanks. The blue is a little bit darker than my photo shows due to the flash, but it's close. I went with the space Gray phone as I'm not a fan of the bright white front on the other options.

Am I the only one still really disappointed that the new leather cases have the cutout at the bottom like that?

I'll still probably buy one, but I've never honestly liked the look of cases like that.

Also OP really like the color of your case, I have red leather case for my 5s and loved it at first, but it definitely isn't as nice as it was.

I wonder how the midnight blue will do?

Yeah I prefer a full coverage case normally, but at least the cut doesn't expose the back of the phone at all. I guess it makes sense given that all the ports are on the bottom, plus speaker and mic so most of the bottom needs to be exposed anyway.

Got my Apple leather 6+ case as well. Feels good in my hands. :apple:

Have you handled the Spiegen cases that you can compare?

PS: Dude, you have huge hands... :p
That's one of the reasons why I am going for the Plus. ;)

I have not - I never really liked Spiegen cases (hate Apple logo cutouts), but looking at their site, they have some nice slim ones, nice and clean looking with no logo cutout.

Yes, they look nice, and they have clear and black. But I also got the Apple black leather case. There's something about dead cow skin I find appealing on my gadgets...

Wow. For some reason I'm thinking that leather shouldn't be ripping. That's definitely a problem. I'm not sure the docking piece makes sense given the sheer amount or wireless/bluetooth speakers available. But I guess everyone may not want that.
