My friend has this Vista laptop. When he types on the keyboard, the entire keyboard is supported by this thin plastic thing, so the whole keyboard bends down when you press a key down, like it's going to cave in. It made me lol since my keyboard is made of aluminum. And then I lol'd at him some more as I watched Windows ask for permission to transfer a file from a removable disk to his HDD. Then I spent about a half hour trying to figure out how to make hidden files and folders visible, something i could do on XP in 30 seconds.

I never really realized how bad PCs with Vista sucked.

1) I agree, the build quality on a lot of laptops just suck.

2) Uhh lots of things ask permission in OS X too, and you have to enter your password. Plus its not hard to turn UAC off in Vista.

3) Finally 30 min huh? Should of just done this:

... as for internal components, you would save hundreds if not thousands of dollars buying the same components as are in a Mac (depending on the price of the components to begin with).

I would save thousands of dollars building an $800 Mac Mini myself? Cool!

... the reason Mac doesn't crash is because it's better hardware.

No, the reason Macs don't crash is because of the operating system.

I have no doubt Apple parts are good quality, just thought they'd be awesomer quality :p

Think again. Apple uses mediocre parts where they can get away with it, and absolute trash in some cases. Like any other corporation, if the cost of warranty repairs is lower than the amount saved by putting bargain basement parts in the computer, they will do so. The difference is that Apple does have excellent warranty coverage.

@ iPhone 62S, no thx.

@Andrew, meh I know a lot about computers, just only started using Mac, maybe 7 months ago, and have just always thought the reason Mac
doesn't crash is because it's better hardware. Perhaps it's just all
very good parts that work very well with each other. Or maybe it's Leopard/SL.

Well at least I know now, helps my arguing :)

I assure you I never committed the user error crime on any of my PCs, that I remember anyway.
I think I'll put PCs having crashes and stuff, just down to
poor quality of hardware, damaged hardware, and a little to Windows.
And user error in some cases.

I just want the truth fyi, so I know what I'm talking about.

@instax, haha yeah, I just enjoy arguing for Mac. perhaps I'm a lawyer and I just don't know it yet?

I want all the facts, so I know what I'm talking about, I don't want to be talking about stuff
that isn't true.

Kind Regards

NEVER did I see special lot boxes or have to change the scanner settings because it was being sold to apple. Same reticles, resist, tool settings and so on.
