Is it possible to hide file extensions on every file without having to do it manually?

This might help:

Finder>Preferences>Advanced. Uncheck "Show all file extensions"

Finder > Preferences > Advanced...

Uncheck "Show all file extensions"

Individual apps (like Illustrator, etc.) may give you the option of adding the extension again for a particular file. This will override the Finder preference.

It is already unchecked and on my pictures, it says .jpg and .png and such.
