For me it the Ted story arc of the show was over. I'm skeptical if they can involve him full time in a way that makes sense. Don't see an issue with the series itself continuing with a focus on a womens soccer team and some returning characters.

Waddingam's comment of season four being akin to exhuming the corpse of a beloved dog that had been buried ☠️ it's hilariously bad marketing: We loved the Ted Lasso series, it's arc ended, now we are exhuming it to see what happened to the characters squeeze more money out of you...

Season 1 was fantastic, then season 2 got worse, season 3 was rubbish. No big hopes for season 4.

I gave it shot just because of the hype, barely made it through season 1. I’m sure they’re out there but I personally have never heard of anyone else in real life watching it
The comedy was too US, which just doesn’t appeal to my European sense of humour - most US comedy leaves me cold, I’ve actually walked out of a couple of US comedies in the cinema, one was a Will Ferrell film, we walked out after about 20 minutes or so.

A lot of US comedy is based on embarrassment, which I just find embarrassing and feeling sorry for the character, not laughing at them. I prefer more subtle humour and wordplay. I loved Robin Williams’s stand-up routines and some of his films, for example. The same for early Eddie Murphy.
