I'm looking forward to most of the features, it's a hard choice, but I guess if I have to pick one:

The Quicklook/CoverFlow feature across the platform.

I'm looking forward to stacks, quicklook and the notes/todo stuff in mail (which I'm hoping will sync with the iPhone)

You say that now, but when 10.5.11 is out you'll be ready to drop it in an instant for 10.6.0 :p

10.6 Ocelot I bet...I'll be too busy waiting for 10.8 Liger:

Unfortunately I know a grand total of 4 people who use AIM or iChat...MSN is the standard here, so its Adium FTW!

True, and its ashame Apple doesnt build that in. They should atleast have 3rd party software to allow this. I really like ichat, it looks nicer and works better, then all the other clients.

A little odd, but...

...my favorite Leopard features are ASLR (address space layout randomization) and tagging downloaded applications.

I like the fact that I haven't worried about security breaches (but still responsibly vigilant) or malware for the 4 years I've owned a Mac. I'm glad that these features will be included to help keep it that way.

As for the "fun" (or at least more visible), I'm looking forward to the new iCal and Mail. Not to excited about the stationary in Mail, though. Seriously, who really cares about html stationary?

I love the little things ...

Guest Log-In Accounts
Allow anyone to surf the web and check email as a guest on your Mac. When they log out of the guest account, Mac OS X purges the account, removing any trace of their activity. So each time someone logs in as a guest, he or she gets a fresh, unused account.

UI Recording and Playback in Automator
Add even more capabilities to your workflows. Use a new action called Watch Me Do that lets you record a user action (like pressing a button or controlling an application without built-in Automator support) and replay as an action in a workflow.

But I'm mad about the following MISSING/DROPPED features:

iChat's Star Wars hologram
Missing Screen Savers (Security Cam which used the iSight camera, etc)

Favorite feature. Hard to pick just one :D

I am looking forward to Leopard for Stacks, CoverFlow view in Finder, and QuickLook.

I guess if I had to pick one it would be QuickLook. ;)

I'm looking forward to indication about secure networks...it will complement my newly found thing: option-clicking the Airport menu to give the networks in order of signal strength...

Star Wars hologram? Explain!

the overall look will be refreshing (I love the new desktop), stacks will be very useful, so will quicklook! What concerns be about quicklook is that how will word/excel/ppt files running under rosetta be able to work in quicklook? With these types of files will quicklook turn into slowlook?

No because the files do not run under Rosetta only the applications do, and seeing as you are using a native application to open them (Quicklook) it will run at native speed.

Apple Dictionary

Get to know your Mac even better. A dictionary of Apple terms is built into Dictionary.

Quicklook for obvious reasons

iChat screen sharing, that alone, when I'm at uni with my mate, will save so much time when editing on Final Cut

Early builds/previews of leopard had a hologram effect (see here for an example) but that has gone missing in recent builds and someone from apple (can't remember who) was quoted as being pretty sure it had been removed from the final product.

Hopefully we'll get it in an update...

The new design (dock, icons, unified interface, ect.), the new finder, TM, spaces, stacks, new effects in iChat / Photobooth, screensharing, and everything else.
