Sleek, too bad I don’t do this myself. Why Apple doesn’t focus on Engineering Professional Applications? Like CAD or circuit analysis software or programming IDEs.

Why Apple doesn’t focus on Engineering Professional Applications?
Seriously, market maturity and graphics support. I've been all in with AutoCAD, Dassault Systèmes CATIA, and Bentley MicroStation PowerDraft since the late 80s. Some of our Macs use Nemetschek Vectorworks, which has been around since the early 90s. They're all about design and, more importantly, BIM and document control. Apple would be wasting money getting into CAD/CAM with Autodesk and Nemetschek making macOS SW in this space. Besides, AMD GPUs suck big time in this market space, until Apple gets Quadro GPUs in newer Macs they'll be an afterthought - as a Mac owner going back to the early 90s, I budget a fair amount each year for CAD/CAM workstations - Macs never get considered in my budgets because my SW vendors don't certify AMD GPUs on macOS (or even High Sierra, for that matter).

Is there any way to choose ProRes RAW within FCPX 10.4.1 for a project ? It seems as though it is only a new way of capturing rather than editing ?
