Gurman expects the following for the devices:All of those things have already been rumored, but extra corroboration is always nice, as we count down the final hours until Apple's official announcements.

Final? Promise or threat? So nothing more before 10am PDT tomorrow, Tue 9/925???

Let's wait and see...

For once I may skip a year although with the increased battery its tempting because for some reason my battery seems to go by quickly since updating to iOS26....and just update my Ultra to the new Ultra 3...kind of looking forward to the foldable iPhone...plus upgrading everything every year is starting to hurt the ole pocket book!

Apple's prowess of pulling off incremental upgrades when it would be so tempting to innovate is unmatched.
The trick is to not buy a new phone/whatever each year.

Unless something silly happens in terms of pricing I am looking for a upgrade from my 12 mini to a 17 pro. Always wanted that Tele lens and the raw photography option, bigger sensor makes it look like the time to get it.
Beyond that I also hope for a phone that has much higher battery capabilities compared to my 12 mini because honestly my 12 mini can do everything beyond the missing lens perfectly fine except for its battery wich was terrible from day one. To me it feels like it should be a massive upgrade and probably good enough to actually get a battery replacement in 4-5 years instead of a new phone.

I wonder how much improvement will be coming from the camera. 8K recording - does it matter?

Jokes aside the late rumors have me very interested , especially the battery department

AI is really lacking tho. It's sad when you see what Gemini achieves, while consuming little battery (I have a feeling apple intelligence and Siri will be power hungry)

Also apple is very sneaky, and historically have called "optical" what wasn't in fact optimal zoom . So yeah

With all Apple OS numbers jumping to 26, I wonder how long it'll be before iPhone 17, 18, etc. become iPhone 26, 27, etc. 🤔 I used to think it'd be 10 years from now, but maybe that'll be "one more thing" to get people to upgrade :p

"Oh, you're using a 16?? I'm using the 26 and it's SO much better!" 🤣

Seriously, why do so many people upgrade each year? Everyone complains about how incremental and small the upgrades are and how they don’t have the money, but then those same people proceed to go buy the $1000+ phone every year. I upgraded from a iPhone SE 2nd gen to a 16 and yea it was a good upgrade, but I don’t see any reason why upgrading this year would make any sense.

People just like to bitch about how they would upgrade if only it were "worth" it. And then likely do so anyway. Ad nauseam. Every ****ing year.

If there's no 80W charging speed at the minimum, that would suck for the Air. What a downgrade to aluminum. Easily dent when it falls.
