FINALLY got a preorder thru apple.com

And 14 hours later...

I was finally able to get in a pre-order.

It took multiple reloads in multiple windows. Finally. 16GB
 
I tried about 8:30am CST right before a meeting at work. Wasn't getting anywhere on apple.com but was getting somewhere on wireless.att.com. Had to quit though after I got just 1 of the 2 in my cart with AT&T. Meeting ran pretty late and it wasn't working after lunch. About 2:30pm I got my 2 orders with apple.com completed. Email confirmations are in and still say delivery on June 24th.

I didn't try as long or as much as some of you guys it seems but was pretty pissed that I had to make 2 separate orders with Apple (1 per line). Oh well, at least I didn't have to go mess with the mall trying to get to the Apple Store or the idiots at the AT&T Stores here.
 
Got an error msg after clicking place order. But then I got an order confirmation email from Apple! guess my order did go through after all. Only took 9 hrs of trying -_- ...
 
12 hours later..finally order go through at apple.com

still waiting for the Order Confirmation E-Mail :(

done and done!

ordered a 32GB for me, logged out, and then a 16GB for the wife. i still won't believe it until i get the confirmation email.

i've only been trying since 7am this morning.
 
I started trying at 8 am, JUST got the order through. SOOOO glad I don't have to go in the store on the 24th.

Funny to think how on a whim last year I walked into ATT and purchased the 3GS around 10:30 on launch day with no problems, no lines and nothing whatsoever.

I have no faith that I'd be that lucky this time around since this phone has been more anticipated.

When I started to order it I was sketched out cause it said ships 6/24.

Then it changed to delivered on 6/24 and I was happy.

But on the final page things took a turn for the worse and it said 7/6-7/8 :(

I'm hoping the confirmation e-mail goes back to 6/24.

it see i have the unlimited data plan and everything, but never get to a check out point :(

WTF!

guess ill be waiting online at an apple store come the 24th :mad:

Same here. Finally got through but the final shipping date is July 2 with a delivery of July 7th.

Sad part is that this blows my plan of getting one. THis one goes to the primary account. The second account is eligible for an upgrade on July 3, at the rate it's going, there will be a backlog and I leave the country on July 18th. No iPhone 4 for eVolvre and my original one has finally crapped out. Looks like I'll be picking up a used 3G on ebay
 
Finally got through

Apple.com finally went through, although estimated ship date is July 2nd w/ delivery on July 6th - 7th :rolleyes:
 
My order confirmation page. Notice it says Delivers on 24th!
