Ignorant = uneducated (in an area), and in your case, Leopard's firewall. Sorry to hear about your disabilities - I wasn't launching an attack to offend you, was merely pointing out something that I'd say to any user. However the wording of your argument, which slated Leopard with words like BS, crap are ignorant comments. So you'd half expect a response from someone like I did.

I'll end my discussion on this here..

Dear ra noodle

The "quote box" you see is very easy to do. While looking at this message, look at the bottom right corner of the message box. You should see a little blue button with word "quote" in it. Each message has its own "quote" button. If you click on the "quote" button the web page will change to the page you use to write a message, with the message you want to quote already placed.

The message you are referring to will have the word "QUOTE" at both the beginning and the end, however there will be square brackets " [ ] " around them. As well, the first "QUOTE" will also have an = sign, the original poster's name and a message reference number (I think that is what it is). The second "QUOTE", also in square brackets, will have a " / " (slash) in front of it ( /quote ) to show that the quote box should now end. I can't put the square brackets in to show you because then you'll see a quote box. Just hit the "quote" button to see the effect.

You can edit the words between the "quote" brackets. However, you should not change the words since you are supposed to be accurately quoting them. You will notice though that I have removed almost all of your quote because all I wanted to do was refer to the quote box.

After clicking on the "quote" button, you will see 2 more buttons directly below the little text box type into. One is called "Submit Reply" (click this box when you want to commit your words to the forum) and "Preview Post". This will show you what your message and quote box will look like when you "Submit Reply". I always preview before I post.

Good Luck.

Personally, I think Leopard is safer than Tiger overall. I just ignore the firewall, and in fact just left it at the default settings. But - to each their own. Now its time to Preview and then Submit...
